Tevez [Merged]

BTW : superb ending to today's Tour de France stage entering the Pyrenees (Awesome scenery !) Contador has well and truly thrown down the gauntlet to Armstrong .

How will the Astana management react??

Who is team leader on the road now ?? (Contador JUST ahead of Armstrong in the GC).

All this is happening out there in sportsland whilst many BMs spent the day locked away in their bedrooms with a PC like teenage Goths

FFS people , get a life !!!

How about the sensational ride by Bradley Wiggins! Armstrong is to be applauded at age 37!
Consensus of most of the media is Tevez to be unveiled on Tuesday!

I watched that stage...it was excellent!

i doubt city would pull out of the eto'o deal if they hadn't got a signing soon to combat the bad press
think your right there mate IMO city know they have to get some positive press asap and nothing would be better than a big signing! im an optimistic fella but i'll admit now that we have reached a stage that something or someone has to be signed and signed quick! like someone eluded to earlier, if we get some one in then the eto'o deal is old news!

nobody buy the star today is really depressing, says the tevez deal is on the brink of collapse, is holding out for chelsea, or even utd could go back in for him, which i cant see after calling fergie president of england, and woolnough having a right go over john terry saying to join city would be ridiclous. talksport having a pop also on the sports news saying city have failed to land a big player again.
woolnough saying terry leaving would be ridiculous, he'd know he joined the scummiest paper of them all and i dont think it was for less pay!

One Love, One Life, One City, .... so get on yer bike loser ;)

Worst day off you could ever have picked mate, lol.

Yes except was p*ssed from 2pm and fell asleep for a couple of hours!

Do you not think that we ended interest in Eto after being finally given the ok the complete the Tevez deal. I dont think we were ever going to sign them both. Whoever said yes first was going to be signed. We already have Boj,Bellamy,Robbie,Santa Cruz we were only going to sign one.

Its no coinsedence that since the Eto deal was called off the more respectable papers have us down for signing Tevez by Tuesday.

I would never buy the Star, when we beat the rags 5-1 they had a pic on the back page of MH doing an overhead kick 100% rag news!

As for Talksport it was Manchester City day yesterday and a lot of sence spoken by a few so we can't have it our own way everyday, by the end of the transfer window I would expect all of them to be eating there words.

Tevez while a good player is no Eto'o and none of the other players you name are proven goal scorers at the highest level, so I very much doubt you can place a positive spin on this.
