Tevez [Merged]

I think now would be a good time for the club to make a statement as to where we are at with Teves surely they must know something but not a sound [its getting a little worrying]

I swear the Times have given previous dates that Tevez was due to sign and were wrong, I hope we do get him/looks like we will, but I don't think the papers have a clue when it'll be. The relevant bodies are probably still going over the paper work and Monday or Tuesday would seem a reasonable guess as I'm sure Mark Hughes would want Tevez in South Africa. Tevez'll needs time to gel with the rest of the squad. Let's hope this is concluded early next week, we need the squad to have a good pre season together, the sooner the new arrivals meet their team mates the better!

Some of the tabloids definitely have. Can't remember ever seeing The Times say it before now but they are no doubt as full of crap as the rest of the papers, none of which have exactly covered themselves in glory this window.

well this is boring the living shit out of me now.........

i'll wake up to a txt with the worst hangover tomorrow saying we've signed him...typical city :)

I have thought for a long time that Tevez will keep his options open as long as he can, we are like money in the bag for him, he will wait until he has to sign, but if something better comes along he will take that. Indeed yesterdays actions might have been as much aimed at him as Eto'o.

I don't know I'm not Tevez, but odd things happen in the transfer window, look at Robinho two days before his move to as, would we have been considered an option? I very much doubt it.

So you think all the reports about the FA going over the transfer are incorrect ?
