80 million does not go that far when you get it over four years at 20 million a year and then you find out that the debt you have costs you 69 million a year , work it out even with the money its a loss of 49 million ayear , that really cheers me up and explains a great deal why the rags aren,t too keen to spend

joorabchian said he has been speaking to hughes and garry cook and i imagine they have been selling the vision and ambition of city to him for a while and made tevez feel that he could be a major player in our future. like robinho at madrid, tevez wants to be top dog and play often, city can offer him this with plenty of money. 25 and a 5 year contract, tevez will probably spend his peak years at city and i think in a way we are more of an appeal than chelsea. he will be of similar age to a lot of our better players like robinho, de jong, ireland and would be a star in a rapidly evolving team where as at chelsea he would be a squad player in a much older team. anybody going to get tevez on the back of their new shirts?

The story about Tevez going to Chelsea in the People was by Steve Bates. This clown has spent the past few weeks slagging City every week, whilst printing fawning articles over United which wouldnt be out of place in their matchday magazine.

zabaleta and mascherano were at tevez's debut for the rags. zaba flew over from spain to watch him , him and mascherano are tevez's best mates!

i read the same thing . then i read an article on the mirror website , it had that photoshop pic of tevez wearing a city shirt. it said chelsea had pulled out . city were the only team left. im not gonna believe any of it until its on sky sports news!
