My old man is in Spain this week and he has just rung me for an update on City. He happened to mention he had been speaking to a few people out there who are big Real supporters, they have told him that they dont want Trannie and rumour is the deal could fall through due to his medical (was always a possibility I guess, and the reason Trannie today has denied speaking to the club) I would piss my sides if this was true. Interestingly though, rumour over there is we are sniffing around Wesley Sneijder and Gabriel Iván Heinze. I know this has been mentioned before but found it interesting that the Spanish are talking about this too and not to mention the fact we are now seen as one of the big teams in Europe. Also let it be known I am not saying these will happen as it's just Real fans info from Spain.
Well up for Sneijder, he is v good and works his socks off. Similar position to Ireland though
listen mate i agree to an extent and im not saying ireland is shit, but the team has got to get better and better every year. you cant just say, X or Y has had a good season, they can never be replaced, thats just silly talk!mcfc391 said:wrongun73 said:so we shouldnt buy anyone who plays in irelands position then in case we offend superman, get real, there are better players out there than st. stephen.Left Peg said:not my fault! said:On a different note... Exactly what we are saying. St. Stepehn played as well as anyone in the league last year. Why on eath should we buy anybody to replace him? He has the work ethic we want at city, he is an academy boy so has the club in his heart, and has at least a decade more to play. I think some fans should get real and relise we are building a club and not buying every decent player under the sun. It send the wrong message to players if they work hard and have an amazing season then we replace them juts becasue we can.

Mind you, it makes sense...City are in the market for quality players and Real Madrid are looking to lose some quality players and replace them with "Galacticos".
Yes but, you cannot just kick a member out of the team who is City through and through and has done sooo much for the club last season.wrongun73 said:so we shouldnt buy anyone who plays in irelands position then in case we offend superman, get real, there are better players out there than st. stephen.Left Peg said:not my fault! said:On a different note... Sounds interesting, and makes perfect sense, I am hoping for Van Der Vaart, Huntelaar or Sneijder.
