Sounds reasonable. happyblue on BV alluded to it as well.

What do you mean? Basically confirmed what BM115 just posted?

He didn't explicitly state that the FA were looking over papers, just that City hoped to announce him today, but there was a delay. Which I assume is this.

I don't care when it happens as long as he signs soonish so I can pre-order my shirt with his name and number on the back to get up the nose of them rag twats.
He's having 32.

Greedy bastard. 32 shirts? Must be rolling in it...

;-)

Right, I havn't posted any info for a while because..well I think it's obvious considering the way this thread has been going.

However, the one thing I can say...

The deal between City and KJ has long been agreed.
Th deal between City and Tevez was agreed within the last couple of weeks osmetime, but it is agreed.
Now, because of the whole previous 3rd party ownership thing, the F.A. are scrutinising every aspect of the transfer, to make sure all rights lie with the club/player. As the window only opened today, they could only start looking over the papers today, this is why there has been a delay, and it is expected that the announcement will be Friday, or at the very latest Monday.

Now then, believe that however much you want, call me a bullshitter, whatever, I honestly don't care.

And no, I'm not going to name my source, or say anything else about anything else, because some of the abuse on here at times has been rediculous.

Seems like an absolutely reasonable shout that. Ta.

He'd better not sign until this gets to a thousand pages. There's sucha a thing as manners, y'know.

Yeh, the fact is that the F.A. were always gonna scrutinise papers for any Tevez deal, so were not being picked on or anything like that. From what KJ has said, he is dropping back to acting purely as an agent for him, but I still wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him, so it's a good thing that they are looking over it, as if they found somehting later on then we would be in the shit.

We have lawyers who would spot if the deal wasn't legit, the FA will want to scrutinise it but we aren't cheating little bastards unlike West Ham!
