Seeing as I predicted this thread would only get to 1050 pages before he signed I would appreciate it if everyone could stop posting drivel on here until something concrete is known about the signing, I have no doubt we can now fill the thirtyfive pages with enough garbage once it has been announced he is at city for his medical. Your attention to this is very much apreciated.

Manchester City are confident of unveiling Carlos Tevez by Monday in a deal taking Mark Hughes’ spending to £200million since he became boss.
City’s talks with Tevez and his advisers have led to a £25m deal being agreed to take the former United striker across Manchester.
Argentina international Tevez is poised to agree personal terms with City on a four-year deal that will earn the 25-year-old striker £120,000 a week.
With their attempts to sign Barcelona forward Samuel Eto’o hampered by a dispute between the player and his club over an exit fee, City want to sign Tevez as quickly as possible.
Hughes is keen to have as many of his summer signings on board by the time City head to South Africa for their pre-season tour in a fortnight.
Tevez and his main adviser, Kia Joorabchian, have been impressed with City’s pitch for him – and also the club’s ambitious plans to become a major force in Europe.
Having reinforced his midfield with Gareth Barry, his front line with Roque Santa Cruz – and with Tevez in the bag – Hughes will turn his attention to City’s defence.
Hughes is still determined to sign Joleon Lescott and although Everton are reluctant to sell, City believe an £18m bid will force their hand.
City also remain keen on prising Arsenal centre-back Kolo Toure away from London.

My nephew just phoned me from London village to tell me that he was eating in a restaurant tonight and next to his table was the grey haired scottish bloke who presents on SSN.
Earwigging, as you do, he heard him take a call basically saying that Tevez is a blue as of tomorrow.

Hi everyone, just had a couple of beers with a guy who works in IT at City 10 days a month. He's flying out to Italy tomorrow which is why he's down in Birmingham. Anyway, he says 2 medicals have taken place recently, 1 yesterday afternoon, 1 today. Both blacked out windows, security, the works-he doesn't know who the players are as it is proper top secret. NOT ITK just passing on what I've heard literally within the last hour.

Mate say what you want, been a season ticket holder for 10 years, was out in Denmark and Hamburg with the Brazil flag, some of you may have seen me. It's just what I've been told. The medicals themselves are not top-secret it's the identity of the players.
