Tevez [Merged]

Re: Players turn on Tevez and don't want him as captain

Only Tevez himself can put an end to these articles , and the fact that he hasn't done so in the past three weeks is worrying ....... it's leaving people in limbo , not least Mancini who will need to replace him

his seeming lack of respect for both the manager and the board (except the Sheikh) doesn't bode well either , and the players can probably sense that he's leaving ..

all we can do is wait and see , but when you're missing your family and hating Manchester so much , as he apparently is , then there's usually only one winner ...... and i would advise any City fan thinkin' of buyin' a shirt to get another players name put on it!

i've got a way of solving the Tevez problem!

its simple, so Tevez says his family don't want to come to Mcr,Tevez is happiest with his family in Argentina,we want him to stay as he is arguably our best player.Ok our owners have got that much money anything is possible,so why don't the owners build a mini version of Buenos Airies near to the ground complete with steak houses, tango dancing clubs, polo pitches,re name the pennines the Andees, call the Isle of Man the fucking Falkland isles!Surely Carlos would feel at home, his family would be happy and he would lead us to the title next season!

Tevez is doing exactly what he did when he left the rags - kept everybody in the dark and dragged the whole fookin transfer saga out for as long as possible. The problem for Tevez is only a few clubs can afford his price tag and whom seriousuly is going to spunk 35 Million and more on a player whom wants to quit Europe in 3 years and have never stayed at a club for longer than 2.

He is waiting to see who puts in a decent offer and then he will jump but there is a chance no will at the price City will be prepared to sell at so he is stuck in limbo - making come and get me noise to the press hoping Inter ot Real stump up the dosh whilst not totally alienating himself from the fans and the players in case he has to stay

sad really he could have been a legrnd at this club and in truth he has played his best football at City he has ever played these last two years and the4 club also deserve a little gratitude for that.

Yes , and whilst we're at it maybe we could put a large Fray Bentos sign in front of Asda .....

paint the outside of the chippy in sky blue and white stripes ..

... and re-name Mary D's 'Galtieris'!

Re: i've got a way of solving the Tevez problem!

I've got a way of solving it as well.

I've loved the guy and love his goals but when a multi millionaire player says he cannot stand leaving his kids behind my answer is "then don't, stay with them, you can afford it, so stay there". Plenty of blokes working away from home, in the forces or whatever who have to work and can't afford to give it up. So sorry Carlos but you can make that choice.

Maybe that was the real reason why he was so determined to play in the cup final ....... because he knew it was a showpiece game , he knew people in Europe and beyond would take notice of it or watch it , and he basically put himself in the 'shop window' .
