Tevez named in 25 man squad

Overweight, hasn't trained or played competitively for months and plays golf instead, but has a good PL scoring record?

May as well get this man in

Some of you pathetic Tevez apologists need to visit the above 'Dumbo' district ^^^^
On the contrary, some of us are simply pragmatists. We are not self important mopheads, who think our personal pride is the #1 value.

Tevez is a City player/
Tevez talent is at City's disposal.
There is a rift between Tevez and City. City wants him gone, Tevez wants to leave.
But neither City nor Tevez can part ways before summer.
City wants a certain price range for Tevez leaving.
Tevez needs to play to show his talent is still worth what City wants from prospective buyers.
City can use his talent right now that the form of its other strikers seem to have dipped.

So why exactly is it in CIty's interest to not play him? Outside of dumb pride, there are no other justifiable reasons. SO sorry teach, it is you and the majority who need "the district"

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

He could have been selected had he been in the country, but he isn't, as far as we know he isn't even training. I've no idea how he could fly back tomorrow and play this Saturday, or next, or the week after, he probably needs a whole 'pre season' to be ready to play.

He's in the squad for legal reasons, and because we don't have enough anyway its convenient to name him.

Not even going to argue too much, mate. I'll simply use the best example of why we cannot accept that idiot, Tevez, back.

MANCINI.

How are City acting like a spoiled kid? Bobby was using him (even though when he did Herman didn't try) until he refused to come in against BM. He fucked off back to Argentina when he is supposed to be with the team.
I think this is a blue tinted revisionist history. And that is all fine and good. But With Balo out, Dzeko off form, and Aguero slowing down. Tevez could have been a great pick me up right about now. Just like Berbatov is being for Yewnaited.

Sure, we all think he is a prick, and sure he wants to leave. But while he is still a player of this club, his talent should be used to push the club forward. PERIOD!

You're right, he COULD have had an impact for us had the last 8 months not happened. But they did.
I am talking about right now. It is clear we have slowed down drastically:
August 2011: Lost 1 game
Sept 2011: Lost 1 game
October 2011: Lost 0 games
November 2011: Lost 1 game
December 2011: Lost 1 game
January 2012: Lost 4 games.

If you can't see the stark difference. We need all our talents on deck now. Including the annoying ones.

How is it ? He's 8000 miles away, and hasn't trained with the club for 3+ months, he's not at our disposal in any way, how do people not see this ? Its incredible.
By at City's disposal, I mean he is a City player. You arguing physical location has no relevance here. Simply put, all sides puffed their chest and there was an impasse. Tevez didn't think he should apologize and the coach thought he was a prat. Then he was sent to the kid's section, never to be played again unless he apologized. He balked, decided he'd just leave in the next window anyway. City was doing fantastically without him, so they kept him with the kids. He responded with a fuck you, parked his bag and left for Argentina. City responded by fining him.

This has been a tit for tat, for a while now. And at the rate City is losing games and not creating chances, and Tevez is losing shape and not increasing value. Both sides are losing. Whether you are too prideful and want to stick your head in the sand or not. The truth is both sides are losing. A City with Tevez on its bench is better than one without.

We've had a good run that lasted the whole of 2011. But we have slowed down a bit, and we need ALL of City's registered talents on deck to make this thing work.

All that I hate him, pride talk is a waste of time.

He made his choices, now he has to accept the consequences.

Adding to that, he was shit for us at the beginning of the season pre-Munich, shit in the summer with Argentina, hasn't played in months, and now all of a sudden he's going to help us win the title? Don't buy it.

Waiting for a sensible answer, how we can use an unfit player who is 8000 miles away.

No! He was cold at the begginning of the summer, but his presence when Dzeko is cold, and Balo is out cannot be understated. I am not saying he will win us anything. But whatever his talents are (and many believe he has a lot of it) should work for CIty until he is sold.

You don't hear me whinning about Bellamy's talent, or Robihno's talent, or Ireland's talent (albeit many on here do) Why? We sold those guys on! Tevez on the other hand is a City footballer. A good footballer, but yet we are all puffed pride chested about his return. Counterproductive if you ask me.
