Tevez officially not going to Corinthians

It was all about setting a price, and then that CUN.t KJ, selling him to a European club. We've called their bluff. As for Tevez, missing his wife and kids. BOLLOCKS. I'm sure he was thinking about them greatly a few months ago when we gave him compassionate leave, and he went to Tenerife instead, bashing his boilers back door in. Oh allegedly!!!

"Corinthians announced late on Tuesday he quit hiring Argentine Carlos Tevez. In a statement, the club said there was no longer able to carry out the negotiation. On Tuesday, the ESPN.com.br had anticipated that the club would not have time to give bank guarantees required by Manchester City.

The English club received the first proposal by Tevez a week ago. After seven days of negotiation, the City accepted the offer of 40 million euros for Tevez, plus another 4 million according to the performance of Argentina.

Manchester City have agreed that the Corinthians even pay the first installment of the agreement in 2012. However, the English club asked for bank guarantees for the Brazilian team. As needed to provide the guarantees until the evening of Wednesday, the team of Park St. George gave up close the deal within the current window.

Read the official statement of the Corinthians:

The board of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista hereby officially to communicate the impossibility of hiring the Argentine striker Carlos Tevez.

While acknowledging the efforts of Manchester City and all involved in the negotiation, there is more time for the transfer to be achieved, given that the window to the players from abroad closes on Wednesday, 20th July.

Aware of the huge crowd dream of having a new striker as a player of Corinthians, the board looks forward to Tevez in the near future. "

Thanks to SilvaLining posting this in another thread.

The cheeky fucks insinuating it was our fault the bid failed due to requesting proof of funds late.

Don't take the papers for face value. Tevez is a hardcore family man. Whenever the media presents hardcore facts it's clear.

This is the only window of opportunity to sign Kun Aguero until he is maybe 28/29, we have to take it and get him. Tevez, even if he stays, will not be here longer than one more season. I've no doubt we'll go ahead with plans to sign Aguero. And correct me if I'm wrong, Tevez's wages do not contribute to FFP do they because of when he signed?

Then why, when he was given compassionate leave to go and see his kids during the season, was he found out to be in Tenerife with his teenage girlfriend?
