Tevez or Torres?

Torres and Tevez for me. Would be the best strike partnership in English football. Can't think of many better in world football. The real question should be Torres or Dzeko, and I'm amazed we went for Dzeko if we knew Torres was available. Maybe we asked the question and were told he wanted Chelsea....

Who's first?

Anyone thought that maybe Torres didn't want to come to us. He has said some shit about us in the past. However he would know that we would be Liverpools ideal choice to sell to purely down to the transfer fee we could offer.

However we sign Dzeko so Torres knows we are unlikely to go for him and that's when the request goes in.

Tevez for me, we wouldn't know how influential he is on the pitch till he leaves.

You know what? It's not as simple as whether Torres or Tévez is better, but whether either fits within the system Mancini wants and believe me, Torres fits that objective better than Tévez.

Someone who plays on the shoulders of the oppo defence, therefore pushing them back further into their half and allowing us to dominate possession more than we do now. Coupled with the fact, Torres and Dzeko are perfect front men makes this more feasible.

Tévez does not allow this to happen for us, for as we know, he goes wandering and the team have to play spontaneously, rather than exact to a plan, as a rule.

For me, this is main reason why we look in relative control from defence to mid and randomly improvising the attack, constantly.

I'm not so sure that Dzeko won't solve this problem. He'll naturally stay further up (and hopefully central), and provide a focal point for attacks. Besides, you don't really see two strikers playing on the shoulder these days.

Should Dzeko settle as we hope, we have no need for Fernando Torres.

Both players are great, Tevez for me is world class, I think Torres will be like his old self once he gets a move away from Livershite

Admittedly, I had thought of this once, but because Tévez doesn't play like your usual strike partner, it shortens the odds of he and Dzeko finding form as a partnership.

Torres is also a ball winner and I would think either of he or Dzeko would interchange position excellently as partners.
