30% higher still makes Carrol worth £24.5 million. You would never get Torres for less than £50 million and he wanted out. There is no way City will sell a player for as much as they paid for him when he has been a better player since joining

And alot of people said Carrol was worth that money

seems to me he probably is! i wanted us to buy Carroll instead of Dzeko - but was laughed at on this site....................i also wanted Modric instead of Barry.............Now I want Sneijder (or however you spell it); straight swap for Tevez would be good business in my eyes.

Defo. The only thing is, Sneijder costs more then Tevez. I know its bout the Views, but i belive most european Teams wouldnt take Tevez, instead Sneijder would be in everyone welcome.

Whatever the fee,who will match his present contract? Any potential transfer will probably be undisclosed and will be a complicated affair me thinks.

The Future will show that, Carrol was an Kamikaze buy.

I dont know who do y want to make belive that with 50M, who would pay such money for a problematic Player like Tevez is?

Stop trying to sound clever its embarrasing.

Ronaldo is problamatic and went for £80 million. Im not saying Tevez is on par with him but they both always been vocal about moves and dream clubs and such. Robinho was a pain n the ass and the only reason he went for £18 million is because City didnt want him. Okay so no 1 wants to pay his real price then he stays.

Top players involved, but still big money as Max Bygraves would say

Sneijder/Maicon Tolm?

I will be surprised if he goes to Italy as you would have thought he would prefer a Spanish move but as long as we get top quality in, so be it.

All will become pretty clear very soon I suspect.

Forget all this crap about homesickness and wanting to play in Spanish speaking country.

It comes down to nothing more than Tevez and his bastard agents wanting to move him on for another last pay day and the lack of respect for our manager.

He is in a corner and only a couple of clubs, Inter and Madrid, can even prepare a bid that would come anywhere close to matching our demands and quality makeweights.

We will come out of it stronger, whichever transfer scenario plays out.

Thanks for the reply mate.

If we do sell him it'll be something shit like £25m like we paid for him, which is a joke as he's worth heaps more now. Closer to £40m. If Torres is £50m then god knows what Tevez is.

Lol mate calm down, whats wrong with you?

Tevez ISNT WORTH THAT MONEY. Get that into yr Head.

Who would pay, do y really belive Jose Mourinho would spash 50 Million for Tevez? Are y serious? Real Madrid want buy a Player over 30M Euros, at least not when Mourinho is there.

Barcelona would never buy a Player like Tevez.

The only Options are both Milan Clubs, they would pay a higher Price, especially Inter and thats max. 40 Million Euros.

Depends on who he is going to as different clubs could offer certain players to decrease the price. If he was being touted to Inter , I would want 20 million and Etoo or 10 million and Sneijder. Can't see him going anywhere else , he will either go to Italy or stay here , neither of which I am too fussed about

We need to get rid - he's always going to be trouble. The 'team' are better off without him.

On a slightly different subject - can Yaya play Centre Forward............thoughts?

Hmmm yaya can only play centre forward if we get petrov back for left back lol ;)

-- Thu Apr 21, 2011 10:42 am --
