Tevez replacement [Merged]

got a feeling it'l be a deal including higuain with madrid.
would love aguero though

my preference would be 1. Aguero 2. Rossi 3. Higuain 4. Eto'o 5. Cavani/Lavezzi

edison cavani.

Just signed a new deal, didn't he?

Lavezzi's a good (and realistic) shout. I'd like someone that's versatile enough to play off a wing.

Think we can rule out Eto'o now - Mancini wouldn't have mentioned the deal if it wasn't dead.

so i think we're looking at a straight swap deal or player plus cash situation since no club can afford the little bastard.
The other factor is his preferred destination. As much as he talks up his love for Boca, there's a snowman's chance in hell he'll go back to Argentina. I think Spain is his preferred destination, although we shouldn't count out a move to Italy.

Possible deals-

Barca-

Villa + cash

RM-

Kaka
Benzema + cash
Hiquian + cash

Inter-

Eto'o + cash
WS

AC

Cassano + cash

I feel for Cook n co, this situation is fucked and there's very limited options

They will already have these options covered, but I still believe Tevez will still be a city player after 01/09/11.

Mancini also mentioned that Tevez would be staying.

I wouldn't rule Eto'o out just yet.

On a side note, reading everyone's comments, I can quite understand why Guidetti wanted out...we have (if Tevez leaves) 2 potentially fantastic strikers Dzeko and Balotelli, along with Adebayor who would get into most team's first 11, and now we are looking to get yet another 1 (and in most posters minds 2) first team striker(s) when we play pretty well a 4-2-3-1 system...it was interesting though, last season, when he brought Boyata on in a game (can't remember who it was) and they went with 3 at the back which would open up potenially an extra striking position...not for every match mind, but would be a good alternative...

IF Tevez does leave then I would love Kun Aguero to be his replacement and I'd be disappointed with anyone else. But my opinion means jack shit and it's all about who Roberto see's as the best man to come in and I trust him 100%.

Has Guidetti definitely moved or still just out of contract. Tevez staying would pretty much demand to be starting in every game when fit while most of the names mentioned would probably be more likely to spend a few more games on the pine without kicking up a fuss and maybe create a few opportunities for Guidetti (even off the bench himself) as the 4th striker we then wouldn't have to worry about.
