He should have remained in the wall ......

Rooney would have had to have chanced hitting a MOVING ball , whereas Van Persie DIDN'T ...... we might even have closed Rooney down before he got the chance to move onto any such Van Persie pass

Tevez moving made Van Persies mind up for him , as a gap suddenly appeared on the edge of the City wall .

Agree totally. Anyway, Tevez is not the sort of player who needs resting and also could do a better job in midfield instead of Nasri if needed.
