Oh how I hope he finds out the kids aren't really his.

I've been in his exec box at the stadium & there's pics of them all over the walls. Believe me, the ugly little fuckers are his! And having seen them, it explains why he chose to go on holiday with his bit of skirt rather than go home to visit them! I'd want the full benefit of an ocean between me & them if they were mine too!!!

LET'S KEEP KIDS OUT OF THIS

Are you being serious? Jesus!

Paxman just laid into him at the end of Newsnight, then showed footage of Trautmann in the 1956 cup final. It's true, the legends like him and Mike Doyle would be utterly ashamed of players like Tevez.

FIFA vice-president Jim Boyce has suggested the organisation could be ready to back Manchester City if they choose to throw the book at Carlos Tevez

City boss Roberto Mancini claimed on Tuesday night that the Argentina striker refused to come on as a substitute in the Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich, although the player has since denied that.
Boyce, speaking in a personal capacity, would be happy to back any such move. He told Sky Sports News: "If he has done what has been said, and it appears there is no doubt about it - no matter what has been said this morning - then I think his club would be better off without him.
"If Manchester City Football Club prove it, write to FIFA and state the exact circumstances that happened last night then I believe FIFA should have the power, as they do for drugs-related cases and other cases, to ban the player from taking an active part in football.
"I would have no problem with that whatsoever. It hasn't occurred before but I think what happened last night was despicable."
Legally, if the club can prove Tevez refused to do his job, his contract can be terminated.
"If, hypothetically, a player did refuse to play or go to the game, then the employing club could allege that it was a sufficiently serious breach by the player to allow for a summary dismissal and termination of the player's employment contract," Graham Shear, a partner at law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner, told Reuters.
While the fans who watch Tevez would expect to get fired for not doing their day jobs, such cases are rare in football.
"It has to be an extraordinarily serious breach by a player that would give rise to an immediate termination of the contract," added Shear. "Significant disputes between a club and the player are ordinarily dealt with by levying the standard punishment of a deduction of two weeks' wages."
If City decide to keep Tevez but Mancini goes through with his threat to never field the striker again, the player could have a case for saying he is entitled to be released from his contract for not being allowed to perform his duties.
"FIFA recognises within its rules that if a football club refuses to play a player for reasons other than appropriate sporting reasons then such an act could potentially be grounds for a player to seek to be released from his contract on the basis of what is called sporting just cause," Shear said.
"Such a release would normally result in the player being a free agent."
So, whether the club decide he should stay or go, Tevez could become a free agent which may well be a good result for a player who has made no secret of his desire to leave a city where he says the weather is bad and there is nothing to do.
There appears to be no chance of reconciliation, though, with Mancini already on record as saying Tevez's career at the club is over as long as he gets his way.
How exactly that would happen is harder to predict. Tevez was available for transfer during the summer without any viable takers emerging and his recent actions have hardly made him a more appealing prospect. That leaves the option of disciplinary action and the potential for cancelling his contract or seeking a ban.
Tevez's problem could be that his catalogue of run-ins at previous clubs may put off some potential suitors from paying a hefty fee in January or even acquiring him now for free.
Then again, a player on a free who can score for fun -- he was joint top scorer in the Premier league last season -- and is willing to run his legs into the ground when he wants to could be worth the risk to many clubs.

Daily Mail:

Mancini’s players were not required to be in training on Wednesday but it is understood that while not all of his team-mates reacted adversely towards him, some told him exactly what they thought of him while in the away team dressing room.

Long post alert for the easily distracted...!

There are lots of comments on here what people want to happen, but the truth is a lot more depressing.

Players have almost complete control.
I'm certainly no expert, but I believe the club have very few options in this case.
The first they they have to do is conduct an enquiry. This is to find out exactly what happened.
You cannot take any action until you have all the facts.
Even then, you have to have reasonable proof of these facts.
All Tevez has to say is that he indicated to Mancicni that he was feeling unwell, and therefore unfit to play. But due to language barriers, this was misconstrued as refusing to play. Or as i suspect what he will say is that he was asked to warm up, but he thought he had already done enough warming up, therefore told he translator to express this. But through a mix up, Mancini was told Tevez is refusing to warm up. Tevez will argue that Mancini took this as refusing to play.

Even if City prove that he refused to play, the mere fact that he indicated he wasn't in the right mental state to play would divert a gross misconduct case. He could argue that City have a "duty of care", which means they have to take care of his physical and mental state.

Assuming City prove the lesser "misconduct" charge, their options are still very limited.
The standard fine of two weeks wages can be imposed, but that is about it.
There may be an option via FIFA/FA along the lines of bringing the game in to disrepute.
This may lead to a longer ban. This might only be from playing, and might mean remaining on full pay.

On to the comments about letting him rot in the reserves, half his wages. Make him train alone, paint the toilets etc etc etc.
Well believe it or not, a player can now be released from his contract is he is not allowed to do his job, ie play football.
City would have to prove that any decision not to include him in normal training or football games was for footballing reasons, and not as any form of punishment.
It would also give him grounds to sue City for constructive dismissal and victimisation.
This could lead to a situation that not only would Tevez be a free agent and retain his registration, he would also be able to claim any money due for the length of the original contract. He could also claim for compensation!

If miracles do happen and City manage to prove a case of gross misconduct. Then City could sack him, and retain his registration. This would mean we wouldn't have to pay him anything, and we could still get paid if another club comes in for him.
This came about to stop footallers doing something to get sack, just to get released from their club/contract.
I doubt the later very much, and I assume it would end up in all sorts of legal actions.

City could just sack him, and release his from his contract/registration.
Tevez would love this, as that is exactly what he wants. He could even try and get some compensation.
This would be as bad as keeping him.
If the club is smart, don't even consider this even though we can afford too.

City could try and get him to buy himself out. But he would have already done this if there was any benefit to himself. There isn't any financial benefit so it won't happen.

I think City's only real option will be to fine him two weeks wages.
Make him train with the reserves citing fitness reasons. Have him on the bench, once a month. But make sure he isn't picked to play. This will ward off any PFA actions.
Come January, offload him to however will take him.
I know this view won't be popular, but this is how business works. It's not about emotion or what's fair, it's about what you can actually do and what's good financially.

Personally, I would love it if they sack him and take the (massive) financial hit.
He is a poison the club needs to get rid off. We have so many good things happening, that he is the only negative. The sooner he leaves te better...

Yeeee-ah, I see a flaw...

If CT was not ready 'mentally or physically', why did he not mention it before the game, allowing his place to be taken?? It kind of 'just happened', so it's a poor defence. He simply got fed up of being on the bench, watching NdJ get on before him, when he was going on anyway.

He's a petulant child who kicked off before speaking to Kia J and now he's fooked them both.

Good.
Firm, swift and decisive action supportive of the manager and the vast majority of supporters.
It is inconceivable that this action has been taken without the full support and ratification of Khaldoun and Sheikh Mansour.
Tevez and Kia The Pimp are about to find out they have made a grave error of judgement and tangled with the wrong people.

Spot on.

Let's humiliate the toerag as he seems intent on trying to humiliate us

The club must win.....and no doubt will

Of course I am serious, Tevez is shit and all you can imagine but no need to bring his kids in it on any way, shape or form. If he's ****, no need for us to be that too

Mark Ogden on Rooney:

When a United player casts his club in a negative light and becomes the enemy within, he is cut loose and castigated. At City, a fog of apathy descends to hide the fractures and the bad apple is allowed straight back into pot.

Just remind me again Mark, who is it who's currently suspended likely to be followed by a transfer and who was rewarded with a £150k a week payrise and ushered back into the first team?
