Tevez suspended - OS

trust me he wont be being paid, take it from someone who has been suspended from work before.

i was found guilty of being too damn good lucking!! ;)

I think we should end his career. MCFC currently hold all the aces, well they have his FA footballing licence at least.

Here's what I think the board should say to Tevez: "We currently hold your licence, you will never play football for MCFC again. If you choose to train, you don't have to train because you won't be featuring in any of our plans, but if you choose to train you will be allocated a specific time to train in isolation and you will be under constant supervision. You will be kept away from the first team, second team, EDS players, infact you will not have any contact with the staff at MCFC including the staff who work in the City store. You will remain at the club until we receive a minimum of £45m transfer fee or your contract runs it's course - whichever is the sooner. And finally we are going to fine you half your wages for the forseeable future".

This will send a clear message to any potential charlatans' out there - This is MCFC mess with us and we will end you!

I think City would be well within their right to dismiss him and then sue him for loss of potential transfer funds. Chelsea did this with Mutu, now that would be a cracker.

They waited exactly 24 hours before announcing this.

We are out to ruin him.love it.

I reckon city will have the fucker banned for life.

A brave man showing dissent to a sheikh.

Our legal team will be making sure we follow due protocol, Kia would obviously be looking for any minor error we make that he can exploit - 2 weeks suspension must be the max as stated on the OS until we have finished our investigation.

I don't think we can do that. The PFA would intervene, so, potentially, could the European Courts.

He will be being paid

The player’s suspension is pending a full review into his alleged conduct during Tuesday evening’s 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.

Once the review is finished then he will probably get fined, depending on the findings. Normal workplace practice....suspension on full pay while investigated.
Not much we can do about that.

Personally, fine him max possible then make him turn up to Platt Lane everyday for an 8 hour training session (alone), if he does not turn up fine him, for each no-show. Hopefully we never have to pay him again but he doesn't get the free transfer he is looking for. I am annoyed they let him travel back with the team, should have sent him for a standby at Munich airport. Few hours with the fans would have been "nice" for him
i can just see him now in one of the wheelchairs going up and down in the lift singing 'city's going down with a billion in the bank'!

Two weeks seems ample time for the board to investigate; take decisive action however they see fit and feedback. I hope that review is conducted with clarity and that the review does not become entrenched with tit for tat bickering with Tevez' advisors (if they are even included in this process?)

If we do not deal with tevez' refusal to play then quite frankly we are setting a dangerous precedent not only at our club but across the football world.

You can't fine him for the foreseeable future. I expect we are looking at cancelling his contract and are looking to Fifa to ban him until next July. I would be happy with that result.
