If he's fit and he's appologised to Bobby, to the players and staff and he's in the form of last season I'd have him back starting on the bench.
After our last two defeats he could be the differance between winning if we are drawing or losing
Drawing and losing in any game is not an option from here onwards.

I must admit I wish he would come out with a statement to appologise to the fans as he must know we were very upset about the way he handled it all by ignoring the whole club for 3 months back home.

However true it is that Dzeko can score a goal despite playing shit, for me we cant have "a man who can stumble horribly through a game for 90 minutes" playing for us in this current important run in. There is no margin for error, no time to carry passengers and definitely no room for stumbling horribly.

I was exaggerating about stumbling horribly and I don't think he's a passenger his first touch is dodgy but he often links moves well and contributes pretty well to the team. He doesn't look as silky smooth as Mario or Sergio but he's effective in his own way

Regarding conversion rates.

It's a skill to get yourself the space to have a shot, he has so many shots because he instinctively knows where to go and/or has the strength and nous to buy himself half a yard to get his shot away.

All strikers miss plenty of chances, look at Mario v Bolton. What sets Dzeko aside for me is that minute after minute game after game he has the confidence to take on that responsibility of having the shot. It's a quality that's lacking in several players in our team.
