Woah. 122 posts and you're dishing out the abuse? Parenting is the most important thing in the world, not that you'll ever know.

Whilst I don't want to enter into the Tevez debate I have to say something about this. No it is not. Not to everyone, even if it is to you. People that have no kids or do not want kids couldn't give a toss really. When you (or your partner) are pregnant and then have babies, it is a big deal to you, but not to your friends who get bored silly listening to long procrastinating stories then end with no punch line.

I am sick of parents who, lets face, have sex and end up with a sprog, making out it is some massive acheivement. Well done, you have done something each and everyone of your ancestors also found easy enough to do along with half the current crop of teenage slags.

ps - I actually agree with you about Tevez, just not about parenting being the "be all and end all".
Fair point. Didn't mean to come over all high and mighty. And kids, even grown up one, can be a right pain in the arse at times.

No worries :) , I have actually enjoyed reading this thread as it was entertaining and makes a change from the usual "Rag said this"......."Would you prefer to win X or Y"......."<insert manager> Out!"......."I would play this team" etc etc bollocks that we usually have to read.

EDIT: ps - I am only 28 with a 21 year old (laura ashley model - had to put that in there as I like to show off) girlfriend so it is still a bit early for me. But I am sure my time will come when it is the world for me also. Bet you can't guess I have lost a few drinking buddies in the past couple of years to fatherhood!

Even though I agreed it might be the best course of action for the club and think it would a good opportunity to see crocky and ade together, I really do find the comment's that its ok for me to miss the births of my children because I was doing my Job with the army however the mere suggestion that a footballer could do the same is totally unacceptable and would make him a crap father etc.
