Not according to Lescott on twitter, all the players excited to have tevez and toures back - and why not? they'll certainly feel better equipped in the dressing room to land the title. Generally the players don't give a stuff about off field stuff they just want to give themselves best chance of winning trophies and tevez was their captain and talisman only last season - they won't just forget that.

Plus - you poll the united players and ask if they wanted tevez to come back and play for us? You know what the answer would be.

lescott is pretty clear in his statement - there was no need for him to speak for 'all' the players but he did - they want him back

The vast majority of people on here were laughing their cocks off at United about how they backed down over the Rooney saga. All he did was ask for a transfer request.

Depends on how highly you rate Rooney as a player I guess. I think hes a top striker (err feel horrid admitting that) and they got to keep him and hes scored 17 league goals so far this season. They are having an excellent season and if it wasnt for us being even better they would be running away with it

yes it will make a difference, if you think crowd support doesn't effect what happens on the pitch then you're v wrong.

leaving is actually worse than booing tevez. think about what the rest of the lads will think watching people walking out.

if you do, don't come back.

If he plays, I've already said I won't be back until he leaves the club.

I've supported City for nigh on 40 years. It never has been about trophies (obviously!) and never will be. If that's what it's about for some & they think that Tevez is going to help in this respect (I happen to think he won't) then fair enough. Not for me I'm afraid.

All this moral high ground "I will walk out the stadium/I will turn my back" tosh makes me laugh. Noone's going anywhere, quit with the melodrama. He'll get a few boos, maybe a chant or two, he'll win the ball back in some Tevez-style hassle and all will be fine again.

why should genuine fans stay away from games because of tevez. walking out or booing him would be letting the club down. if he plays,scores or when his name is announced fans should sing the mancini song.it would be far more dignified
