I'm not happy to see him back as I'd prefer it if he wasn't anywhere near our first team squad.

HOWEVER I can't deny that when I just saw him, getting out of his hummer at Carrington, a smile broke out on my face and in my mind I felt a bit of joy at seeing a man that was a hero to us for the last 2 years back at the club.

He's a top class **** though.

my heart sank

I know that we probably have little choice but to go through the motions, as the toxic twat is clearly doing himself (badly), but City are cheapened by his presence - and that of the vindictive little greedy rat that he trails in his wake.

hopefully he won't play for us ever again

I'm with you all the way fella, it was just strange to see him back at the club.

I don't trust him one iota and still think there are some twists and turns in this saga yet but I suppose it just reminded me that for 2 years I thought he was on his way to being a blue legend and how much I enjoyed watching him bang in 50 odd goals.

don't get me wrong i don't want him starting league games.

if we're drawing or losing in the second half and struggling to create chances then i'd throw him on.

but i'd play him as little as possible.

Re: Welcome Back Carlo

He cant prove the 'haters' wrong ? Tell me how a player who has been missing for 3 months without consent prove anyone wrong ?

He could score goals, give 100% every match... Score the winning goal in the Manchester v Trafford derby but one thing he cant do is prove people wrong ? What he has done / said has been plain to see surely ?

My opinion on him will not change no matter what he does and anything he did in the past has been forgotten.

Rather than looking at it as he will win us the league, why not think that if he had stayed we could be BETTER off in the league... If he is that much of a difference then he has let us down already surely ?

i think this is what will happen unless we get any serious injuries

great impact sub however

Re: Welcome Back Carlo

don't see why your opinion is more important as it deserves it's own thread.

there's a 200 page tevez thread you could have put it in.

Re: Welcome Back Carlo

I hate this fucker and always will. Im not going to show my feelings at the games though. Just gonna slag him on here and when he leaves in the summer be greatful hes gone. I know its hard but hope we can show we are bigger than this **** and just back the team and manager until we lift that trophy. We can rip in to him at the full time whistle against QPR.

i cant see how its for the good of the club, its splitting fan base, i bet its also splitting players, surely that cant be good, ive been waiting over 30yrs, i cant wait another year for it to come
I say this without aim at you, but I couldn't give a flying fuck what it does to the fans in terms of splitting it, as come the end of the season when Vinny lifts the PL trophy, and Aguero is wearing the crown on his head, the fans will only be thinking of that and not Tevez. That is how it is for the good of the club. I don't care what fans think as much as other fans don't care what other fans think, we're just fans.
A premier league trophy in the cabinet and gold badges on our sleeve will piss all over the fans being split about Tevez 365 days of the year.

i do see you point, we, like many have to put it to one side and agree to disagree. we all love the club, but some of us see this as a defining moment, we could win PL or be torn apart because of some selfish egotistical ****. but aeotd, whos to say he play in 1st team.

its all if's and but's at mo, until bobby makes clear his intentions
Defining indeed.
It can go the way of him having strops about being subbed, being asked to warm up or whatever, thus having a negative effect on the squad and us throwing away this title - or he will see the opportunity for what it is, score goals, work hard and help secure the title and then get his move away in the summer. Personally I can't stand what he did, but I also understand he is a mercenary and if he can do the latter of those 2 outcomes there and then move on, i'll be more than happy.
I trust Mancini to fuck him off to the reserves anyway if he plays up and starts having a negative effect.

paul mccarthy just said he understands some city fans will never forgive tevez whatever he does, he just has to do his best to win over some fans
