Tevez to return (Merged)

I can't help feeling very uneasy about him and his motives. I won't boo him or cheer him, I won't trust him and will be glad when he's moved on.

and if we fail to win the league, will it be because we brought this scunk back, inspite of doing brilliantly well without him.

Re: Welcome Back Carlo

If he scores the goal that wins the League, I won't care.
Just as long as he doesn't f*ck with team spirit etc etc

I'd still like to see him start up front with Aguero, that would be awesome I suspect.

Why do you think your opinion is so much more important than the other 2000 in the Tevez to Return thread that you had to start your own thread?

Look at the big picture. If we do not welcome him back, as a club then we are in breach of his contract surely?

We need to play everything by the book so we can enforce the fines in place. Wouldnt be surprised if he does not play again and does something silly so as we can fine again, and maybe even eventually sue him for more. Its upto him to show some kind of wanting to play cos as a club we have played this out perfectly.

I hope he never plays for City again and I am not big enough to forgive and forget. I will not boo him if he plays but I certainly won't acknowledge him either. With the money he is on he should be scoring 25 - 30 goals a season, not improving his handicap.

Fed up of hearing about Mancini is panicking etc, what he is doing is making sure City are covered with what we do.

If he does play for us again they better not give him penalty duties. Can see the twat miss just to spite Mancini.

Wow, ive heard some shit on here but that is top of the pile!!!

I dont know...I was at the Wigan game and he barely tried with that penalty.

Someone fucks off for 4 months is going to have to expect the odd negative comment upon his return.

Its not like we are obliged to suspend all our logic and reasoning faculties is it?

Lets leave that to Liverpool fans.

That's cutting your nose off to spite your face though. If we could see into the future and it was shown that kettle neck's goals on the last game of the season were the difference in finishing first or second, I will have those goals all day long. He will be gone in the summer anyway and he won't get a winners medal as i'm guessing he won't have fulfilled the percentage of games criteria to be awarded one, (unless that only happens in the CL). We may aswell have those goals which secure the title than finish 2nd to United.

He's a ****, by the way but i'm just seeing things for the good of City, and a title in that cabinet is better than not having one, obviously.

i cant see how its for the good of the club, its splitting fan base, i bet its also splitting players, surely that cant be good, ive been waiting over 30yrs, i cant wait another year for it to come
I say this without aim at you, but I couldn't give a flying fuck what it does to the fans in terms of splitting it, as come the end of the season when Vinny lifts the PL trophy, and Aguero is wearing the crown on his head, the fans will only be thinking of that and not Tevez. That is how it is for the good of the club. I don't care what fans think as much as other fans don't care what other fans think, we're just fans.
A premier league trophy in the cabinet and gold badges on our sleeve will piss all over the fans being split about Tevez 365 days of the year.

i do see you point, we, like many have to put it to one side and agree to disagree. we all love the club, but some of us see this as a defining moment, we could win PL or be torn apart because of some selfish egotistical ****. but aeotd, whos to say he play in 1st team.

its all if's and but's at mo, until bobby makes clear his intentions
