Do I think Lescott simply tweeted what he actually thought in response to a question or that he was in deep conversation with his and Tevez's advisors as to how to play Tevez's return?
Is the world run by giant lizards and is Tevez part of the conspiracy to thwart our ambitions?

As I said the other day, there are some strange games going on here and plenty of twists and turns to come.
If I was a betting man I'd wager he'll be out of the country again by the end of next week.

Why has he returned? If Mancini is determined not to play him (despite his recent statements to the contrary), what's the point? Has he been advised that his legal position is dodgy if he stays away? Has Mancini been advised that he has to make encouraging noises publicly also for legal reasons? If Tevez's motives for returning aren't genuine, and Mancini's motives for saying he is welcome aren't genuine, then surely it would be best for all concerned if we just came to some agreement about his wages, and he stayed away until the summer?
