Tevez to return (Merged)

Doesn't this just scream of being another in an extremely long list of stunts the Tevez camp has pulled for God knows how long?

I get the desire for him to come back and to bang in goals, but we have to take into account the history of all of this.

Tevez refused to play in a Champions League game in Munich, then left the country for going on three months now without authorization. He did all of this to try to engineer City to make a cut price deal with Milan, no doubt which has promised his agent all sorts of riches — and it being Italy and Berlusconi's club, probably plenty of under the table money for the player as well.

Is it really more likely that they've given up their game and conceded to City? Or is it more likely this "return" — deliberately partnered by the (at least) less-than-satisfactory interview — is another stunt to get their desire fulfilled, this time in the summer?

I wonder if Tevez had done to any other club what he's done here, how many of us would be willing to have bought him during the transfer window to hopefully kick us on to the title?

The way I see it is if he's come back and the team are happy then so am I, I would love an apology to the fans but won't cry if we don't get one.

I just want that fucking title, and I've said in the past we look better without him, sometimes we could do with a different option.

MODS, PLEASE DON'T MERGE THIS THREAD WITH THE TEVEZ TO RETURN THREAD!

It's a separate point, about how ugly Tevez is and what a twat he is. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM COMING BACK!!

Pleeeeease don't merge it! I beg you.

Awww fuck, you went and merged it. :(
LOL!

I believe only about 10% (if not less) would be against it. For all intent and purpose, all Tevez has done really (the last 2 years) is try to force himself out of the squad. He might have been dumb about it, Pricklike, Twatish and all, but all he has tried to do is leave. The exact same thing Aguero, and Dzeko did at their previous clubs that got them to us.

Strange how fans view things :)

Surely you can't be comparing those two with this saga.

So after 260 pages of debate what is the general consensus of the Board

1) He is back
2) The squad have fucked off to Portugal leaving him behind
3) They will probably stay and have team bonding
4) Bert will use the time to tell them what is what
5) Next week when they return decisions will be made
6) Tevez is still in it for himself and not the club
7) Tevez is only back because he wants some money and earnings
8) We will have to play him so he doesn't go on a free and we can get some money for him in the summer
9) Some will boo him if he plays
10) Others will stay silent but cheer if he scores a goal stating always right to celebrate the team effort
11) Others will forgive him provided he puts in a shift
12) Important that he doesn't upset the squad
13) There will be some sort of public apology by him to the fans and if he does everything is OK
14) No one gives a fuck and the sooner he fucks off from our club the better.

Sorry, but I blame the fucking lot on Mark Hughes..

I wanted to start my own thread, but was scared of it getting MERGED !!!!

You can't be serious. This situation is unlike either of those, completely.
