Doesn't this just scream of being another in an extremely long list of stunts the Tevez camp has pulled for God knows how long?
I get the desire for him to come back and to bang in goals, but we have to take into account the history of all of this.
Tevez refused to play in a Champions League game in Munich, then left the country for going on three months now without authorization. He did all of this to try to engineer City to make a cut price deal with Milan, no doubt which has promised his agent all sorts of riches — and it being Italy and Berlusconi's club, probably plenty of under the table money for the player as well.
Is it really more likely that they've given up their game and conceded to City? Or is it more likely this "return" — deliberately partnered by the (at least) less-than-satisfactory interview — is another stunt to get their desire fulfilled, this time in the summer?
