Tevez transfer thread

Just a wild thought. Our owners had a word with PSG owners. Flush Milan out and so long as you still meet our asking price the competition is eliminated leaving the (occasional) player limited options ?

Just sayin' Just a wild thought.

Not sure about the owners making deals part but I do believe that Tevez now has only one option and its PSG. I don't see coming back here an option for him. The foreign player rule does make me less confident though.

Jill, agreed it is a remote possibility. What we don't know is why he refused PSG (not the renown of AC ? not able to make such an advantageous arrangement for any agent ?). They were pretty clear in ending their interest.

That said, if Tevez does want to go and avoid being sued he will try and go - with the advantage to PSG that they may not now have to offer the wages etc they did before. Happy all round ?

Just sayin'. Just a wild thought. ;-)

Yeah I think it would make everyone happy all around. Just took a look at their squad though and (if i am correct and they can only have 4 non-EU players) they are at or past their limit. Alex and Pastore will take two of the spots. Sissoko I think is ok because he also has French citizenship. That still leaves them only two spots for what looks like 4 South Americans though any one of them may have dual citizenship.

Apparently, in saying that PSG had ended interest in Tevez (and that Kaka was not going there) he said they were talking to Alex and Thiago Motta. Both offers were on the table at the same time and I have not seen any announcement that their interest in Thiago Motta is over (though PSG's bid was rejected by Inter).

I have also seen it reported that Joorabchian said that 'If Carlos doesn't leave MCFC now he doesn't reject the possibility of PSG next summer. Carlos believes in the PSG project.' No need for him to wait now .

Hate that we're stuck with him for another 6 months but proud that we didn't give in to Milan and let them get what they want for nothing.

Well how many do we have ? Kolo, Pab Zab, Yaya, Tevez, Sergio let alone the others out on loan (adebayor, RSC). I don't have our list of 25 to hand.

Different rules for England. We pretty much can have as many as we want as long as we have a minimum number of England trained players.

we could still see tevez leave, still four days to go you just never know what could happen, although if milan dont come back at the death with the asking price,we could ship him out to iraq or afghanistan on loan....

Still couple more days yet pal.. Don't lose hope

Always likely to go to the wire because of the negotiating team for Tevez. This week has been about focusing minds and reality testing.

5 days left .

Gist is - too late (according to Ancelotti and Leonardo, so says the site)
