Tevez transfer thread

He doesn't want to play in England at club level again.

I doubt he wants to play anywhere again for that matter.

A golf career in the equivalent of five grades below Argentina's Nationwide tour beckons ( in between any bit of skirt he gets of course ).

this is a real concern, how long can Tevez milk it for if he doesn't leave?
Potentially 2 1/2 years IF he doesn't want to play football and just bank his basic wages with no bonuses, image rights etc. That's still going to cost us, I'd guess, £150k/week so £15m (maybe up to £20m) for 2 years (from summer).

Due to his age he can buy out his contract in summer, but that would cost him circa £15-£20m for 2 years wages (see above), there is an unwritten rule that top clubs will never go for a player that does this. You can guarantee the italian sides would break it........ That would be almost like getting a transfer fee for him as far as City is concerned, a bit less maybe.

He won't be able to terminate his contract for "just cause" as he has a) already played some games and b) made himself unavailable for a large portion of this season. The earliest he could walk on a free, assuming we don't play him and he terminates for "just cause", would be summer 2013.

The problem for Tevez is we can hold him here until 2013, his wages don't count to FFPR and (I think) we could write off his value in the books for FFPR so it just comes down to cash and the Sheikh has oilwells full of it. His cost would only affect the "real" books, not the made-up piece of shit that is FFPR.

I think Tevez is genuinely worried about not being able to play competitive football for nearly 2 years. Strikers are in their prime at his age (27) and he could spend 2 years never playing, taking into account he hasn't played since September. By the time he comes out of it he will be 29 (with his 30th birthday in that season) and on the downward slope in terms of earnings and especially because clubs will take the piss by offering him peanuts due to not having played competitive football for 2 years.

Regardless of all the shit happening I believe Tevez does want to play football. He just wants to screw over whichever club he happens to be at for the most cash and engineer transfers for big signing on bonuses, even if it means doing what he's done at City and he has lots of previous for it.......

If he try's to come back I think it will end up in the courts. Basically he got away with refusing to come on and play (which is technically breach of contract) but you can't get away with fucking off back to Argentina for months without permission. In no profession is this acceptable no matter the job it's gross misconduct and the sack.

We have already saved going on 10 million due to his stupidity.

He he tries to come back and claim his wages they will just sack him and take him to court for lost transfer fee due to breach of contract.

What he doesn't realise is as soon as it becomes clear he can't sell him for a decent fee the saving for us is then his huge wages. We will very quickly write off the fee and take court action as a stop loss to save millions in wages. As with mutu it will take years to sort out in the mean time he won't be able to play - will effectively end his career.

At no other club could this happen as no other club has our kind of money and can effectively write off a player worth 40 million.

Exactly, thats whats starting to make Tevez realise that with us he's bitten off a bit too much, because for years Tevez has been milking the system and the clubs that he was at playing for, until surprise, surprise, I'm not happy being here, missing my wife/ girlfriend started to rear its ugly head at City, and we just called his bluff and stood firm all the way along, untill he put himself in a predicament [ running away to Argentina ect. ] that now makes him look like a complete prat, and of course hands us the advantage if any of this heads to the legal courts which I can see happening....................

So The Twat has now decided he`s been hard done by City and has appealed to the PL for his 6 weeks fine.
Hope the PL have the balls to tell him to fuck off and City are within their rights.

Holy fuck this might get ugly. I hope city give him fuck all treatment when he comes back. I think we the fans have to do our part to support our club and make sure he feels for his fucking crimes to our club and regrets putting a foot back in Manchester. I am SO fucking pissed off right now.

-- Tue Jan 31, 2012 7:28 pm --

Lots flying around re Adebayor going to Spurs and possibly Defoe coming here - I would let Spurs have Tevez on loan as part of any of that. I know we want a permanent deal and money up front but get him out. I know Spurs are a title rival and his goals could help them but all we have to do is keep wining and without a disruptive influence.

How the fuck can he appeal when he hasn't even been in the country. If the FA uphold his appeal I'll be gobsmacked........then again, it is the FA.........

This appeal WILL fail as he is in clear breach of contract. All he's doing is delaying us slapping him with another six-weeks fine for continued absence.

And that's what we'll keep on doing until he shows his twisted face back at training.

The club will only start paying his wages again if he ever turns up to do what he is contractually obliged to.
