Tevez wants to stay but retire at Boca

Tevez has been a complete moron (putting it mildly) but he played a large part in winning those last six games and apart from the QPR game they were pretty much a stroll with him and Aguero part of the team.

The derby and Newcastle were hardly a stroll.

I'm skeptical that his partnership with Kun is anywhere near as good as people are thinking/hoping, and I think the result against Norwich has rose tinted what were otherwise some generally average performances. Aguero/RVP would make a much better strike partnership IMO.
rvp is a far better player than tevez

Not really. RVP is a better finisher but Tevez has better work rate, passing, vision and dribbling as well as other things. Tevez scores goals and offers more, RVP scores more goals but offers less in terms of build-up play and helping the team out. Tevez is certainly the better overall player but RVP is the best finisher in the league imo.

personally i thought tevez gave the team a much needed lift when he returned, however apart from his ball for nasri v chelsea and wolves!! hat trick v norwich, thought was off the pace tbh,he needs a big pre season to get back to his world class best,if we can get this again we have a top top player on our hands

I don't think we would have won the Prem had Tevez not returned but having said that I don't think his performances were that good and despite the Norwich game his link-up play with Aguero hasn't looked too good. Think with a pre-season we will see the Tevez we are used to.
