Tevez

Carlos Tevez is set to stun Manchester City fans by fighting for a summer move if the club fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Tevez has become increasingly disillusioned at life at Eastlands under manager Roberto Mancini, and his adviser Kia Joorabchian is believed to have contacted some of Europe's leading clubs as a contingency if City miss out on the top four.
City fans will be dismayed by the split between Tevez and Mancini, having taken the 26-year-old striker to their hearts following his arrival from Manchester United at the start of the campaign.

The Argentine has scored 28 goals this season and has been nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award, which will be announced tonight.

But he publicly questioned the sacking of Mark Hughes in a recent interview and openly disagreed with Mancini's decision to make the players train twice a day.

He also voiced his displeasure about City using his image in a provocative 'Welcome to Manchester' poster campaign.

Significantly, Joorabchian, an important figure in Tevez's life, has fallen out with the hierarchy at City following the departure of Hughes and will not be averse to finding Tevez a new club if instructed to do so.

Real Madrid and Inter Milan will be among the contenders to sign him, but there could also be a surprise move from Liverpool, even though their own Champions League hopes are slim.
Liverpool hope the fact that Tevez's friend and Argentina team-mate Javier Mascherano is at the club will boost their chances, although the player would have to kick up a real fuss at Eastlands before City allowed him to move to Anfield for a cut-price £18million.

Almost thought this was plausible till the scousers were brought into the article.

Really they have not got a pot to piss in or pot worth robbin` so what journalist with any credibility would put that in an artcile. Clueless prick.

Make up any shit to fill paper columns,

Funny how one minute we're linked with torres and were try to de-stable the dippers, now there tryin to link tevez with them lol tit for tat made up by bullshittin journos craving attention as someones all ready pointed out it happens year in year out concerning all the best players

What will be will be, if he wants out then I just hope we get a good price for him.

If nothing else it proves we're making waves amongst the big boys. Week in week out we hear rumours about Shrek leaving the rags, Fabregas leaving Arsenal, Torres leaving the dippers etc etc. The media wouldn't be going into overdrive if Kenwynne-Jones was leaving Sunderland, or Spector was leaving West Ham. It's because only a small minority would buy their papers if all they could talk about was a mediocre player leaving a mid-table club.
But put out a fat, juicy story about the billionaires at Man City having problems with big-name players and the great unwashed will be queuing up to get their copy of the Daily Tabloid.

Every week you have a story about Madrid wanting Gerad, Rooney, Tevez etc. They tap up more than dirty Harry.
Its the usual run up to summer. Arsenal- Viera going or not for years, Gerrad to Chelsea, Ronaldo to Madrid for years etc.

Now we are getting up there with the big boys and have some class players we are being involved.

A few facts:
1) He is no longer owned by his agenct. City own him and have him on a 5 year contract and around 160k per week. Not many teams, even if they can afford the fee (18 million LOL right. 25+ at least) will not be able to offer anywhere near his salary.

2) Yes he has been out of sorts in the last 2 games, i noticed it against Utd and again yesterday. Saying that our entire attacking front 4 have been woefull in the last 2 games, not just Tevez. Playing 3 defensive midfielders with zero creativity doesnt help.

what a load of absolute bollocks.

People lets realistically look at the situation here..

1. Liverpool, basically broke and wont play champions league football next year. I would say the chances of him going their are about as remote as Dean Windass becoming Real Madrids new coach.

2. Real Madrid do not at all have room for Tevez in a team which includes, Tranny, Higauin, Raul, Kaka and Benzema. Where in the fuck would Tevez fit into that team? Fair play if they are trying to offload some players he would get a look in, but he had lesser players ahead of him at the swamp. How on earth do you think hes going to get ahead of those names.

3. Inter Milan, why would Tevez want to be part of a league that is on the decline? And again same question where would he fit into their structure? Sneidjer has had a wonderful season and plays in Carlos's position, in the hole.

4. Last but not least, we DONT NEED THE FUCKIN MONEY!! He is here on a five year deal earning 160,000 a week at a club where the fans love him in a city that he has gone on record as saying he loves and in the league he enjoys playing in. I just cannot see Tevez leaving for another 3 years at least.

I went to training twice last week and both time Tevez had strapping on one of his legs so maybe he can't charge around the pitch like he usally does.

He'll be here next season.

If Tevez were to leave city this season I'd personally run onto the pitch in a united top and lay a turkey slice on the penalty spot.

i think the whole team havent been themselves the last two games, and its probably due to the fact that the police, clubs and papers have been telling our players to tone down their behaviour for man u and arsenal (i.e. not be themselves).

with regards to some of the things carlos says, i bet alot of it gets lost in translation. like for instance te papers said he thought the 'welcome to manchester' poster was wrong, yet i remember a few months ago, he said he had it on his living room wall (couldnt have been too wrong eh?)

hell be here next season, if not only because the fans love him (why would you leave that? (unless real madrid offer you a contract of course! haha)
