I know WHAT you MEAN mate

At times last year we had just two strikers available in the 18 man squad, with Tevez on strike and Balotelli suspended. Mario's still capable of moments of madness. Tevez could fall out with us again at any time, particularly if he isnt a regular first choice.

Its just too big a risk, one of them has to go. And I would prefer to give Balotelli another season to show some maturity to go with his undoubted ability.

He wont fuck off again. He has found out how catastrophically bad it made him and kia look and in no way helped him. I think he realises if he wants to move he needs to play and score and stop kicking up fusses which ultimately seems to stop teams wanting to pay the big money needed for him

I honestly don't understand why people think Tevez and Aguero make a great partnership. They both fantastic players individually but together they don't work against packed defences, especially not with Silva and Nasri in the team as well because they all want the ball short and to feet. With all four of them together opposition teams can just pack the middle and even if we do get a fullback providing the width there is no fucker to cross to because they're all 3 foot dwarfs. It means you're restricted to scoring the perfect "Barcelona" type walk it into the net goal, as good as Tevez and Aguero are they're not Messi standard and the Premiership is a lot tougher than La Liga especially in winter when the pitches are heavier and the players are tired because we don't get a winter break.

That is why you need RVP, he gives you the option for the ball over the top and his movement and finishing in the box is outstanding.

Did they both start together on our winning streak to the title?

For me if Tevez makes a commitment - not just a statement to the press but possibly a contract extension I would keep him. If he proves his worth next season I'm sure we will start getting decent offers for him. Fact is that a fit and commited Tevez would be very hard to replace.

I'm not convinced that RVP is the answer. Last season he was awesome but in all his previous seasons he's played half the games or less (3 of those seasons he's completed 13 matches or less. With Mario's tendency to pick up red cards and RVP injured we end up having 2 strikers. Arsenal will do their best to inflate his price anyway. There must be other younger, less injury prone strikers out there that will be a longer term solution for City.

Yes, what is your point?

They played well against three awful defences who allowed them way too much room because West Brom, Norwich had nothing to play for and Wolves were relegated by Christmas (slight exaggeration I know). We didn't create a single chance with them on the pitch together against United, Newcastle or QPR who were better organised and better prepared. Opponents do so much homework these days that you have to have that variety to your play and be able to give your opponents more to think about than just packing the centre of the pitch.
