I honestly can't see anyone getting anywhere near the asking price or anywhere near his wages. What club would gamble £250k per week on a Dodgy temperament and beer belly?

I don't mind if he stays but I don't see him as first choice any more. Whilst he can play of course, he doesn't play one -touch pacy football like Sergio, silva, Barry, yaya etc. He's like nasri, takes too long on the ball and loses momentum. He does some
Magic things on the ball when fit, of course, so would be a great sub and squad player. But building our game around him, as you have to, would be a step backwards.

Except for that wonderful backheel for Sergio`s goal at Norwich.

And the reverse pass to Nasri for the winner against Chelsea.

from all accounts he is a nice guy.. a mate of mine goes to the stadium now and again to cut players hair, he said carlos was a good guy. when he told him he had a friend who is a season card holder at the club hcarlos gave him a signed shirt and his gloves and said "give these to your friend"..

like they say, nice guy, idiots around him as advisers !

Looking like he really wants to play this season. First one in to training. Seemingly wanting to do the boxing.
I gather he came back off holiday over weight but he is working hard.

Would love it if he stayed next season.

That front 4 all interchanging positions, dropping deep and moving with the ball. Will be a great sight next season possibly.

Looking at that latest video he may have come back overweight but with a good diet and plenty of exercise he is getting trim.

He will always look bigger because of his shape he is barrel - chested but he is looking sharp at this point in pre-season

All I can hope is that ALL our players get a great pre-season in and we start like we did last season.......:)
