Texas court halts sale of Dippers

John Henry: if mill finance takeover hicks shares he will go to the high court as he believes he has a legal binding agreement with liverpool to buy the club!

This just shows how desperate Henry is to buy the club.....he knows full well he's onto a winner buying the club far less than its true value!!

-- Fri Oct 15, 2010 1:13 pm --

ssn: prem league reject approach from mill finance to takeover liverpool.

Every fooker is against hicks.

I don't really understand what's going on now. The decision to sell is with Broughton, so obviously everything other than NESV is going to be rejected.

Here's the rub. If RBS are repaid, the undertakings given about the powers of the shareholders over board appointments are no longer valid. So Hicks & Mill Financial can fire the board and appoint his own.

Henry is stuffed and the dippers will be in a perfect pinch as they will have to repay the debt to Mill Financial, probably at a much higher rate of interest then RBS charged, out of reduced income (from not having CL money).

The absolute worst scenario from their point of view.

Don't bother trying to take sides as we don't know enough about the different parties circumstances and intentions

The Prem did the right thing, and the story is a little inaccurate.

Mill Finance approached the Premier League to ask them to verify their status at fit and proper persons at Liverpool. The Premier League board said that they would only do so under the instruction of the legally appointed board of Liverpool, which is in their rules.

Nothing bent here.
