I think its important to give credit where credit is due.
The guy came in with his money, question his motives if you will, some political and some business... he put in a lot of money that enabled Sven to buy some decent players.
When all went tits up and realised he was going down and couldnt deliver what he promised... he found someone that could. This takes a lot of courage to sell after just a year and you have to give some credit in terms of the position he has put us in now.

^ This ^.
Fuck his reasons, he basically saved us. No buisness man with out suspicious motives would of come anywhere near us. Im glad it was Frank, not West Hams Icelandic tribe.

No 'we' don't. He's a self serving bellend who had not interest in this club what it means and used it only for his own political ends.

Have I said this before?
You've changed your tune suddenly. You thought Thaksin was the bees-knees not too long ago!

Yeah, I fell off my donkey on the road to Eastlands.

I daresay if he had never become involved with the club we would never have been talking about the likes of Kaka and Robinho.

So for that, I'd rather he had his time here than not.

No. He didn't 'basically save us'. He did what no chairman had ever dared do before. Mortgaged the entire club. All of it.

Agreed. Dodgy scum he may have been, but a few of the things he said, and how pleased he to have got the Arabs took over, did make it look like he cared quite a bit what happened to the club. Just my opinion.
