Ill miss the ****.


I was in Munich when he did what he did or didn't do and at the time, I hoped he'd never play for us again.
 
I'll miss the ability he seems to have to just score match winning goals right 'out of the blue' ...... the fantastic goal he scored against Wigan at home , when a draw looked likely .... the superb winning goal that he scored at Blackpool in that 3-2 win , who else could have scored a goal like that???

I still think Mancini was partly to blame for that and handled it terribly afterwards. Our press dept are total crap.
 
His signing was when everyone saw the blue moon rising on the horizon. What a player.
 
Will be sorry to see him go. Even if he was having a bad game & things not going for him he'd give you 100% work rate. Can only think we must have someone good lined up or I doubt they'd let him go.

Swansea at home too. Corker.

His performance at Chelsea in the 4-1, at home to the rags in the 2-1 CC game. His free kick against Stoke just after the cup final.

He was a great buy for us, sent a message out to other players that joining us was the place to be and pissed the rags off at every opportunity.

One of our very best signings in the last 25 years.
