One of the greatest players to play for our club and what away to sign him a big fuck you to united.

Ill miss the ****.

I was in Munich when he did what he did or didn't do and at the time, I hoped he'd never play for us again.

I still think Mancini was partly to blame for that and handled it terribly afterwards. Our press dept are total crap.

I agree with you, I think there was a misunderstanding on Mancini part and he lost it under the pressure of the match, although Tevez didn't seem too arsed either with the highlights I'd seen.

His first few games - I thought he was so ordinary - thought what's all the fuss about - and then he found his feet and he as amazing for the next couple of years. Brilliant. Despite his off field problems good memories.

Thank you Carlos, you had the balls to leave the scum and become one of us !

A huge statement signing for us and a message that we meant business.

We would not have won the league without your contribution in those final games, your one two for the Nasri goal against Chelsea will live with me, your Hatrick at Norwich.

Your work rate was one of the best I have ever seen in a City shirt and you played how we would if we had been good enough to pull on that sky blue shirt.

Fuck You Fergie :)

Thank You again Carlos for your contribution.

Always welcome in Manchester !!

Seem to recall Les Chapman saying Tevez had been the player that had had the most influence since the project began. Very few complete footballers who play with so much energy that it affects ohers- that night against Chelsea- and we'll need to replace him carefully.

I'll miss the ability he seems to have to just score match winning goals right 'out of the blue' ...

He was a great buy for us, sent a message out to other players that joining us was the place to be and pissed the rags off at every opportunity.

One of our very best signings.

Adios Carlitos......... and as for the "Welcome to Manchester" poster... Priceless!

His time being a Rag and hanging about with his Rag player mates affected his time with us. As it was on a night out with Evra that he cheated on his wife and caused her to leave him and the sagas of him going home or going missing or deciding he couldn't be arsed all started when he was a City player.

My tipping point came when he purposely got booked against Newcastle at home (booted the ball against the asvertising boards out of nowhere with no provocation) which was his fifth booking of the season hence resulting in a suspension, during which he was supposed to be training with us yet told the club he was going back to Argentina and he was actually on holiday in Tenerife with some random bird.

From that point on I wanted him out of our club.

But he did so much good for us too and at times he was sensational. One of the best players to ever play for us. You've got to say most of the games against Chelsea stand out the most: his play and goals in the 2-4 away win, his play and penalty in the 2-1 win towards the end of Hughes' time (great game, Given pen save), sixty yard run for the winner in the 1-0, the substitute appearance when he came on and played the one-two with Nasri for the winner in the title run-in. Fantastic!

And this was a classic moment in the amandhester derby rivalry, goog down in history as the day the Rags truly threw their dummy out of them pram:

Well upto now were letting go our second best player of the year and have signed at best average players, lets hope we don't miss all our targets again or it will another disappointing season

how far have we come? we can afford to off load a world star.

I thought that. I just hope these two in charge of transfes know what they are doing. The next 2/3 weeks are vital in the market for us. I don't want players signing in the last two weeks in August. I want all our signings done by the time we get on the plane pre season.

You've never watched Fernandinho or Navas have you? And they were our primary targets and exactly what we had missing in our squad (and what was missing were some of the biggest reasons why we didn't win owt last season).

Plus Nastasić was our second best player last season (in fact I chose him for my POTS; Zaba second).
