He's ok, but a couple of months back, welbeck was going to be the next big thing after that screamer in the carling cup. Everyone can have potential, but living up to it is a different thing.
Next season will be the time to judge, as he should be trying to be in there team more often, and if he isn't then maybe he isn't as good as the hype. He's no rooney at his age is he.

I thought his finish v Villa was a little lucky since he was already on his way down when he hit it... the turn was nice but it seems its one of his only "tricks". He is only 17 so who knows what he could go on to, he does have a face you'd never tire of punching however.
