Personally I hate the pubs on Euston Road. If you cross the road and head South, you hit Fitzrovia and Soho which have loads of traditional London pubs.

The Glasshouse Stores on Brewer Street. Get a nice pint of Sam Smiths in there

When I was over for the final last year, I had a couple of drinks in The Rocket. It was alright; not choc a bloc even though it was a Friday night.

Arrived in London, popped in a pub and got a pint of Cruzcampo. £7.90! SEVEN POUNDS AND NINETY OF THE KINGS NEW PENCE!
