There are certainly more punches thrown in women's boxing than mens
Was just thinking the same. It's far more interesting to watch as a layperson.

Why?

Are you not a nine to fiver?
No, I work anytime a client wants to see me. I have a meeting with a GP at 9pm tonight to sort him out so I have plenty of down time this afternoon. I try and avoid my office as much as possible.

For goodness sake - both BBC1 and BBC3 are showing the showjumping at the moment!

I know GB are in for a possible gold, but as I find Equestrian sports the least satisfactory of all Olympic sports (Let's have a separate games for animals), I wish there were some choice.

Katie Taylor wins in the women's boxing. GB and Ireland both guaranteed medals now

But the Indian is going to win the gold >:)
I admire your patriotic optimism, roky, but Taylor has not been three times World champion and undisputed global number one at the weight by some sort of accident

Daft, innit. Hoping for the track cycling. Am on the iPlayer at the mo, switching here and there, having caught bits of the boxing. Ah, BBC1 now heading to the velodrome.
