The After Party at CO-OP LIVE

They are buying the land where the tesla garage is when that lease is up for starters.

2 reasons i guess. Our owners already work very closely with the council and own vast areas of land in mcr, they are running a business at the end of the day to make money.

Also to improve that strip of land and to extend the city centre out towards etihad.
I wouldnt expect anything ‘wow’.
Be in the main flats houses etc.

The surrounding areas are already a million times better than when we first moved there eh?
What top top owners we are blessed with

I have noticed that a lot of arsenal and utd fans from Nigeria don't seem to have enjoyed the parade!!!
We don't have any fans, but all the fans we do have our plastic, signed by a Kenyan Liverpool fan who has never been to Liverpool. Or something. Modern online football stuff is mental.

I fucking know United have more "fans", you couldn't get away from the fuckers in the 90s, yet I'd seen their greats play more than them having been to a few derbies.

Why didn't they buy the Telsa site when it came up a couple of years ago then ?

Speaking to somebody involved recently; yes 100%, the campus will be a 7 day a week venue. Whether its football or concerts.
And both will work hand in hand.
Someone up for a gig may stay in the hotel and kill the afternoon by doing the city tour.
Someone may hang about after a game to attend a concert.

But at the mo, my guy said,”we almost have to pay people to head out east of the centre”

The comparison was with fulhams new stand the fulham pier that is there now. Its a bit different strolling along the thames than the canals in mcr

But…. The club are actively buying up any land that comes up for sale in the strip between the centre and the etihad. Though i know thats no secret
Major redevelopment of the Holt Town area is coming as well

But at least you could sit at your seat with a beer - I realised though that if that ever came back in the ground I could be in real trouble - I got through far too many seven quid grolsch's last night - to be fair our group of 13 went straight in at 3pm (well those of us who didn't have 'problem tickets' - the gate nazi's were being as awkward as possible) and we didn't leave until nearly 9.
I was kidding about the beer because of the moaners, I wasnt even there.

The event was great.

Personally, I didn’t think the parade was necessary due to the event as well.

I was in the 1st tier. The seats and views were superb.

What a fantastic indoor arena the CFG half own.

Fuck em! Rent free in their heads!
What we are doing is unequalled anywhere in sport.
Pushing and breaking boundaries year on year.
What a time to be a Blue!
40 years of dreaming! 10 years of living the dream…

I bought it when we moved from Maine Road, i use it now for the games etc, it has an incredible view to be honest, the Etihad one way, City centre the other
Wow. Sounds like you have it sorted. I can't get to every game due to my spine being fecked ( that's a technical Neurological term) so the, sometimes 2 hour journey to the stadium and back and sitting in shit seats rules out most stuff but was there last night. Must be great.

Always think my old man would have another heart attack, seeing the area now!
