Penalty given instead of a free kick.

Pique taking out Edin, no penalty is given.

Zabaleta sent off for questioning the decision of not awarding Dzeko a stonewall penalty.

Showcasing Barcelona played against 10 men on both ocassions last season, despite UEFA being "harsh" on them.

You've lost me by not commenting on the penalty pictures.

The fact that you haven't mentioned the stone wall penalty from Lescott on Messi just about says what your stance is
What does me not mentioning the foul on Dzeko in the build up to their first goal at the Nou Camp tell you?

You posted two pictures of two of our places being given red cards

My response to both of those pictures is which one of them wasn't a red card?

IMO Demichelis HAD to be sent off, regardless of whether it was inside or outside the box

Zabbas second yellow was for him shouting at the referee for not awarding a free kick in the build up to the Messi goal at the Nou Camp? Without knowing what Zabba actually said to the referee, its hard to say whether it was worthy of a yellow card or not

What is clear, is that the standard of referreeing in Europe is poor on the whole, perhaps we get the worse referees who referee in 'lesser' leagues which would deem them not worthy of refereeing a Barcelona v MCFC game, you could have a case in saying we have the worst referees, but to say they purposefully give poor decisions against us is a bit too far off the mark IMO

No.

Odd how you can't remember it but are conclusive in your overall thoughts.

Ahh right the second yellow was for protesting because of the foul on Dzeko by Pique, with a penalty not given

So again how can we dispute that it wasn't a second yellow when we don't know what was said?

Or are you saying that if he had given the penalty then Zabba wouldn't have been sent off

Pablo Zabaleta described the decision to send him off as ‘shocking’.

And the City full-back felt blunder ref Stephane Lannoy also failed to give a penalty for a foul on Edin Dzeko and a free-kick on the Blues striker in the build-up to Barcelona’s crucial opening goal.

For the second Champions League match running a City defender saw red with Martin Demichelis dismissed in the first leg.

But Zabaleta was puzzled by his red card in the Nou Camp as well as other bizarre decisions which saw the official miss a clear penalty for Barca as well as rule out a fair goal for the home side.

“I was on the pitch but it was very clear - Pique came from behind and made the tackle on Edin Dzeko, and the referee was only two metres away. He saw that very clearly,” said Zabaleta.

“It was also a foul against Dzeko just before Barcelona’s first goal. He held the ball and turned, and Pique had hold of his shirt, and the ref gave a free-kick to Barcelona.

“Sometimes in the game you are nervous because you are trying to get the result, and sometimes shocking decisions by the ref make you a bit angry.

“I don’t know why I got a red card because I went to him to talk in a good way. I was a little bit angry to him because he didn’t give the penalty but I was always respectful to him. I am very frustrated at the decision because it was a shocking decision.

“I am disappointed but also very proud of the team because I think we played a fantastic game.

“We tried from the beginning until the end, should have scored first and had more chances in the game.”
Careful Pablo, you're talking nonsense.

No mention of both Fabregas and Neymar having good goals disallowed. The result was a fair one on the balance of the play but I think this year it will be a lot closer. Nice to see fans are viewing the draw so positively. The chance to see Messi, worldwide exposure for the club, a packed Etihad under the floodlights rather than bring up a dreary agenda theory

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas: "It was a very tight game against a world class team. It was a great result to win 2-0 over there and today it was tough.

"We created a lot of chances, we had a goal which was onside ruled out and could have had a penalty.

Careful Cesc, you're talking nonsense.

Just to highlight that quoting Pablo proves nothing. Players, managers, fans see things from their own perspective. Probably many Liverpool fans remember Sterlings disallowed goal against us.

Why don't you just enjoy the draw and be thankful we have an amazing occasion to look forward too.
