Yeah but, you know, think about it... 13th game and we lose our unbeaten run? And like, how many were there at the Last Supper? And what's our winger's name again? And have you read Dan Browne? So have I? Oooh, them Jesuits! 'Twas the Catholic Church paid for Highbury, you know?! And our new owners are Muslim. I mean you only have to think about it!

I wonder if we've still got The Beast's number?

six six six, that's all you ever think about!!

I am starting to warm to the agenda idea. I don't buy into the Platini having a personal mission to destroy us but the press clearly do. Every opportunity to put us down is taken, it is relentless and this morning is no different.

It makes me think whether it takes the edge off some players? We took a slagging this weekend from Jose and Wenger and the press drilled this home. Could this take 5% off some players performance and cause us to lose games? Maybe some of the mentally weaker members in the squad start to take it personally and it has an impact on their game.

I'm just throwing this out there but it you are portrayed as club that cheats, if, as a player, you are portrayed as a mercenary and money grabber then it could effect you. I'm not sure this is right as we are generally playing well but we took a monumental hammering from the press this weekend and Sunday was a slightly poor performance, could this be down to the press and is the agenda now costing us points!

A message to the hacks out there, we are not going away, we are going to win more titles, more cups so fuck off, report the facts and do your jobs properly. We are growing, investing in the community and building a great team, report this and not the bullshit we read every day.

Anybody else hear Stewart Robson call Yaya a "disgrace" in the Ivory Coast v Guinea commentary? He regularly spews his anti- City bile on ESPN and the Times Podcast as well.

Could this be the same Stewart Robson (ex Arsenal) who was praising Gervinho (also ex Arsenal) to the hilt as brilliant, until he decided to take up boxing during the match?

The co-commentator on Eurosport's coverage was Matt Jackson not Robson, he was praising Gervinho right through the first half.

Both commentators were slagging both City players, even mentioned how Bony hadn't brought anything to the game !
