Not even close to a penalty, in fact it was a free kick to our good selves.

In fact, having just looked at it again, I'm still puzzled as to how Neymar was not flagged for his antics (hint of a trip to boot)

Shocking officiating.

God knows what that proves. To be honest mate good luck with your agenda. Hopefully you are penning letters to the FA, Uefa rather than just moaning about it on a football forum.

Their basically wrapping themselves up in barbwire

Fuck knows what their trying to achieve, its basically a £50 thread in the main forum :)

Pige would be proud of you he really would.

Hang on, its not pige himself is it?

If my memory serves me right Pige spent most days putting out fires in here without any real success

I'm pleased to announce i shall only be in here today, trying to work out what keeps you agenda folk ticking over

Forget agenda for a second. The draw is corupt because of their own rules. It isnt fair and it isnt impartial. How the fuck can you have a draw when most of the side are not allowed to play each other?

Was it you that posted before about the open draw where teams can play anyone after the group stages?

That is a good post and the only thing that would make the competition fair, that is the only corrupt element of it

All this talk of hot balls, cold balls, bowling balls and itchy balls us just nonsense.

It is the Champions League so you expect to play the best teams at some stage, but the only way they could clean the draw up is by having an open draw. But that could end with a situation where the chances of seeing Porto v Monaco in the final are higher than if the draw was seeded, im guessing the fact it all comes down to money and TV viewing figures is what is holding UEFA back from having an open draw

Perhaps they'll compensate them like last season by giving them an imaginary penalty and denying us stone wallers again.

correct. they make it look unfair on barca but ensure they go through.

Ensure Barca go through by making them play the Champions of England

Hmmmmmm

you could field 11 ronaldos but if the ref wants you out you are out.

That's a flawed arguement cause Ronaldo doesn't track back, and i doubt he's very good in net :)

Nail on head at the end mate and the reason why its fucking fixed.

Cash cow due to tv and sponsers who demand to see the same teams and same players right through to the end.

UEFA oblige.

Re: so this agenda thing.

In a year where FIFA's rotten core has been revealed more than ever I don't see why some seem to think it's beyond the realms of possibility that UEFA are equally as corrupt. I have no doubts that since day one they have been against us and tried to make things as difficult as possible for us. The main thing is the FFP rules which they moved the goalposts to ensure we failed. Can you imagine how much of an embarrassment it would be for them if a team that failed their FFP rules went on and won their biggest prize? You'd have people going purple in the face saying how ineffective the rules are blah blah blah. Even a mathematician would raise their eyebrows at our CL draws.

The way the competition is seeded is the only bent part of the draw. Whinging about being paired with Barcelona as though there's a mass conspiracy devalues this thread and ends up overshadowing the genuine grievances many have with the press and media and their reporting towards us.
It's a fucking great draw, obviously Monoco would have been ideal and Porto nice, but Barcelona are beatable and last year was a great trip regardless of the result. Can't wait for it.

Late contender for Post of 2014.
