Seriously, are the media so fucking stupid? Suerly they knew that us starting NYCFC, Melbourne City etc. meant we could loan players between teams, blood youngsters!?!

If any other team done this it would be a masterstroke,as its us its viewed ( wrongly) as the rules being bent,surprised one of the hacks hasn't spouted about us being docked points or some other bollocks to that effect,Wenger was up in arms over this but forgets he took henry on loan,what's the difference....

Sadly that is the way this particular thread has gone. I dont see an agenda just certain individuals within the media who do not speak positively about us. I also see lots of positive media coverage like last week on the academy.

Sadly any alternative stance to an agenda is met by insults and questioning of your blue credentials

I am with you and think it is OTT and overblown bordering on paranoid. I always associated the paranoid everyone hates us mentality as a Rag and scouse characteristic starting in the mid 80's at Pool and really kicking in with the rags after Beckham in 98, chelsea started thinking there was an agenda against them when Romam Came in. Obviously now we are successful we too need to become paranoid and think everyone hates us and there is an agenda as that is the big club mentality!

Only ones who doesn't have it are arsenal and Spurs who think everyone loves them and looks up to them which is even more deluded.

Better to be an un-paranoid Rag though than a paranoid rag copycat

No doubt a piece requested by one of his adverseries at the time rather than one borne out of a genuinely held opinion.

The football press in this country fall over themselves, trying to curry favour with the usual suspects and will do anything to gain it.

This week was planned in so much as the narrative was we wouldnt cope without Kun. We did and it fucked their plans up so its now plan B and attacking us for dareing to sign a player who scores goals in Lampard and this somehow cheating Chelsea and Mourinho possibly out of the league.

Its a joke and for the likes of Barklay and his mates, should be a source of embarrasment.
