i think its a fun read, and it certainly keeps me entertained and hopefull.

whether or not it comes true or not doesnt make much of a difference to me. i want us to sign the best, and always will, regardless as to whether a guy on a forum says we will or not.

but like i said, the thread and his information entertains me, which partly what an internet forum is about right?

i dont really understand why people want to pick holes in his story, only i guess they get different entertainment in it. and i guess in some way they are doing it for the benefit of the site, trying to prevent wind ups and such.

whatever though, im a fan, and think itd be a shame if he stopped posting

Oh come on! do you really think that forums are to read everything that is posted and believe it !

Surely it is to debate, people like Ajay make statements that are just "dangling carrots" nothing specific can be varified yet!

I want like all others for it to be true, but feel that a reality check is needed, and as previously stated the statements regarding players are vague and thus will be able to be applied to any new signings and thus we will get "well done Ajay you were right" when in fact he may have been, but then again may not have been.

Sorry dont agree - forums are for debating things but why constantly slate Ajay before giving him the chance for it to be proved.

Im sure a lot of people will be eating humble pie on this site by the middle of january - one thing is for sure they will not be offering Ajay an apology. I will start a tumbleweed thread for people who slated Ajay to comment in then.
 
I've already messaged Ajay and said for him to ignore them. SOmetimes easier said than done, and if everything Ajay has said does fall on its face at least i've had something entertaining to read rather than the usual, "Who should play upfront, Hughes Out", type of posts.

Has anyone asked Ric to confirm that Ajay posts from an ip address in the UAE? That would settle that. Someone has made this suggestion?

"Ducado's List" was established for the purpose of dissuading wums and (other) idiots by establishing an implicit two-prong test: the information must be in good faith and reasonable. There are few things more suspicious than a poster with little to his name who pops up before a transfer window, speaking about this player and that contact. The list was also intended to prevent genuine information being lost as swallowed-up in a cataract of piss-poor posts and threads.

The implicit good-faith & reasonable test was made explicit by Ric shortly after the list came into being, with specific reference to the case of Oldham Blue (RIP). Ducado has since changed the name (and purpose) of the list, perhaps due to pressure by posters, some of whom (it is clear) do not read threads in their entirety, do not understand the genesis of a thread, and refuse to read posts that correct their (wilfull) ignorance. There are some posters for whom English is not their first language, and, though they do a passable school-book impression of fluency, are let down by their failure to comprehend metaphor, idioms, irony, conceits &c. and the subtle nuances of the English language.

The decision to ban anyone, or suspend any account for wumming, was always reserved to Ric (and the mods): the list was never an attempt to circumvent their authority (such a thing is impossible anyway), but that was made clear from the beginning.

The negative reactions to Ajay stink of jealousy and parochialism, under a facade of "realism". Ajay has declared his willingness to leave the forum. Those posters who believe he is posting in bad faith ought to make the same offer.

If I remember rightly. Ajay was over for the Eastlands derby last season and made a call to GMR just after the game. The guy is definitely a blue, definitely lives in Dubai and definitely doesn't deserve the shit he's getting.
 
Well to all those that only decided to speak about City after we were taken over, I can tell you that Ajay is a resident of Dubai. How do I know this? Well unless he's got some mental time machine, why else would he have said he was leaving Manchester to go to Dubai around 3 years ago? Surely anyone who was on the board back in 2005 will remember that he moved around then?

This is not to say I believe everyword he says, but thats not his fault. He is passing on info he is getting, and i'd rather be hearing it from him that tribalfootball or something!
 
Looks like he might not be getting any juicy goss from tomorrow night's party anyway cos Sheikh Mohammed has just ordered the cancellation of all New Year's Eve celebrations as an act of solidarity with the Palestinian people.

House parties will be fine. Not much they can do to stop them.

But we all had tickets for a big party at a bar on The Palm. Looks like it might be off now.

Just need to find a friendly house then!!!
