A 5 is as far as I can go with this one. Including a point for being a blue. It didn't quite sit with me, I did try. There are spells of the album I did enjoy. But if I'm being honest, less than spells of the last album, which I in hindsight gave a pretty hard time and others a bit of a pasting. Maybe seeing him live would have given me a completely different outlook at it, maybe knowing it and broader work better too with more time. But based on the 3 listens, that's where I am.

OK, Bill, understood.

I'm sad to see you go. I respect the opinions of everybody who posts on here - you and BlueHammer included. One thing that is clear from these threads is that BlueHammer loves his music, and I'm sure that his reply to you was driven by music and not by any personal feelings towards you.

First and foremost, we're all passionate music fans. But on top of that, everybody brings their own unique perspective and one of the things I like about your specialty is that you are a musician. Even if I don't always agree with your opinions, I value your musical knowledge and what it brings to your reviews.

A pity because I did want your honest opinion on my next album, which is by a guitarist.

Anyway, the door is always open and I hope you'll reconsider and join back in at some point. All the best.

I'm not going to try and persuade you to stay, people do what they want but it's a shame to leave on this note. I seem to recall you being pretty scathing of one, possibly two of my picks in the past (although you weren't alone there).

That said @BlueHammer85 comment was as subtle as a Lizandro Martinez tackle or a Darwin Nunez dribble and as such was out of character for our bubble blowing friend who I find to be one of the more conciliatory posters on the political threads.

This being an enlightened age I'm going to take the conservative approach and suggest all sackings, resignations and anything in between should be rescinded after a week of remorse (or political manoeuvring, whichever is the most expedient)

And for FWIW I'd take Leonard Cohen over Roy Harper (no disrespect) any day although I see the same poster has nominated both.

My opinion that your opinion about his opinion is probably the bullshittiest.

Shit, another leaving before my next nomination tomorrow.
As the saying goes ‘One mans meat is another man’s poison’.
We all have different opinions , unfortunately BH response was about’ as subtle as a flying mallet’.
I’ve not done my review of this album yet, but I agree LC pisses on RH.
