*One of the 5 HG players has to go down as a foreign player as they are all association trained and not club trained.

** Iheanacho will qualify for the u21/B List from January, when he will have been officially registered with us for 2 years, but until then he's a foreign player.

A very good squad.

Aleix Garcia & Zinchenko could be added to the Premier League squad.
Is Denayer still classed as U21, he'll be club trained if not?

In my mind, we are starting the season with a stronger squad. Just because the names we have signed aren't currently acknowledged as worldies, doesn't mean they haven't improved us. Every worldie wasn't born a worldie.

Who of our rivals do you think has strengthened more than we have?

I very much prefer we get a player in that suits the style of play the manager is aiming for, will improve the players around him, and is a teamplayer.

As for other teams, who cares tbh. I much prefer to look back a year and ask myself: Do we have strengthened more than last year i.e. do we have a better squad and managementteam to have a better chance at winning silverware? I think we do. Obviously. Time will tell.

Fully agree. Some of our fanbase however, are not happy unless we sign the worldies. Much rather have the best team than the best players and I think pep will deliver that

Our fanbase will never be happy with transfers that's human nature for you just like the weather
To hot today
To cold yesterday
And will probably rain tomorrow
People love to moan

What date was he registered for City though? If it was after 28th June then he'll never qualify as club-trained. It's the same reason Pogba isn't club-trained,

Pretty sure he will be Club Trained, he turned 18 the summer he joined us, I don’t know the rules inside out but I think it is 3 years before a 21st Birthday. So as long as the paperwork was done in time he should be ok. On top of that it makes no sense to develop players that won't get classified as CT! We do buy in older players such as Sane and Sterling etc but they are experienced senior players. I think all our current EDS players fit the CT criteria.
