What date was he registered for City though? If it was after 28th June then he'll never qualify as club-trained. It's the same reason Pogba isn't club-trained,

He played in a pre season friendly two years ago before we loaned him to Celtic & he'd been playing for City the season before, so he will count the same as any other kid who was playing back then.

EDIT: Just seen that he joined after his 18th birthday so he'll never be club-trained. U-21 B-list for this season then non-HG after that.
