The guy has talent Dom; he has shown he has quality for us in the past and if there is a manager in the world I believe can get the best out of nasri it's Pep

A lot of players have talent. A lot of them waste it away. Why do you think Pep is going to dedicate time and energy he could spend on other things just trying to get Nasri to apply himself?

Id rather see him put that time into a player who at least maintains professional standards.

There's a great passage in Pep confidential when they talk about how pep will work with a player. He'll make it his life's work to improve a player as long as they match his effort. As soon as they stop trying, pep is done with them.

As far as I'm concerned Nasri's already shown he's not interested.

He is a manager and it is his job to try and get the best out of each player available, Nasri at the moment is part of that sqaud

Whilst we should be trying to make things as ideal as possible for pep, he should also be able to improve and motivate players as well; he is one of the best managers in the world after all

So I suppose he should never have sold deco and Ronaldinho then?

Nasri won't play on the wings or as a #10 because many players are ahead of him in those positions. He is 29 and has been inconsistent through out his career. I could see him as a squad player at the CM position possibly even that could require effort hes not ready to put in.

Don't get me wrong, I was Nasri's biggest fan when he came. He won me some money scoring that lovely goal in the Roma game but I've given up on him reaching his potential. Could of been a world class player but unfortunately lacks the desire and discipline to be the best.

Samir's not a kid anymore..He's a 29 year old grown man ffs..Shouldn't be 'pampered' at that age..Should be making more of his career and perphaps needs a fresh challenge elsewhere like Ben Arfa..I'd rather Pep nurture say Coric into what Nasri should've been.

Who knows; if there is one man I trust to be able to get the best out of a player and motivate them, then it's guardiola for me

Personally think its unlikely but I would love it if Nasri becomes the player we all wanted him to be. We'll see what happens!
