I'm genuinely shocked we haven't seen more links to a top quality CM. Fernando and Delph aren't good enough and yaya is too hit and miss nowadays.
From the looks of pre season we have Garcia, gundogan, and dinho to choose from. If one of gundogan or dinho is injured then what? Garcia has no prem experience whatsoever - that doesn't mean he isn't good enough, but we can't be certain how much of an impact he will have.
It's been a weakness for us for 2 years now. Gundogan will have a great impact, but I was convinced we needed another.

Alex garcia might just save us 100m also think he will use silva and kdb in the middle when needed in
A 3 gudongan,diniho,kdb I would imagine would be his prefered 3 with delph,nando,yaya an silva as back ups and a.garcia

We need a midfielder who instantly inproves our options above delph and fernando for me...

great player but Im not sure he is what we need when we have KDB and silva......
I believe Isco will thrive in a central middle 3 more than Silva and KDB because of his youthfulness and work rategreat player but Im not sure he is what we need when we have KDB and silva......
Once we get Stones over the line I think all that would be missing would be a CM but honestly can't see it happening unless we somehow offload Yaya. Think next summer's signings will be CM, fullbacks, and a keeper.
