Yeah, it was probably a bit over the top. I think one of the mods was just worried that Paul was going to land his source of info in trouble, but that's not really our problem. Pulling the thread probably made it into a bigger issue that it was or, indeed, needed to be.

Do your sources support this sudden wave of excitement? I know you hear things from time to time?

Just to confirm that I didn't want a good source to get himself into trouble but he wasn't pissed and there's a few seem to have heard the same sort of thing. But it's generalities not specifics so nothing to report really. Just have to wait and see what happens this summer.

Double reverse clarkie? :-)

Blimey, wasn't online last night but it looks like it was a busy evening!

Judging by my Twitter timeline and this thread we're getting accused of all kinds of cover ups, whereas the reality was a bit more mundane from what I can see. Looks like someone had a few too many, but I'll put the threads back now as there's nothing to hide.

Reckon you secretly organised it to increase traffic.

;)

Bored. Come on City, sign everyone now, now, now before this place begins to panic about there only being three months left of the window.

When is the chairman's close season interview going to happen, btw. He always seems to drop broad but comforting hints.

Nice to see Kevin De Bruyne having a quiet word in Ricardo Rodriguez ear in the tunnel before the kick off today.
