Gonna get shot down for this, but £85m for someone that age is ludicrous.

Rather just grab pogba for the same amount.

Guess guardiola believe Suarez can influence the outcome of a game more than Pogba, and if you're going to spend £65 mil on Auba may aswell spend a bit more and get Suarez.

Also if we can get Kroos for around £50m we wouldnt need Pogba. I'd rather have Suarez and Kroos than Aubameyang and Pogba, both would cost around the same amount i think

£85m is a lot of money but a front 3 of Aguero, KDB and Suarez would be unplayable. If we get 3 years out of him at a really high level can't see what the issue is. Chances are we'd clean up domestically and I'm sure the deal would pay for itself with shirt sales etc. Suarez for me is in top 3 players in world.

I know the Premier League is flush with money for all clubs now but Stoke won't pay that for either player to be fair.

I guess what has to factor in massively is the fact that Pep has a 3 year contract and knows what is expected. With this is mind you get talent first and foremost, in spite of age.

One more thing...sterling never played better than he did next to suarez. If you bring in aubameyang, it will be like an upgraded liverpool front three from that season, which perhaps should have been enough to win them the title.

For the club though, who have worked hard recently not to have piss taken with fee's, it sends all thje wrong messages imo. If pogba wasn't available for similar money, in an area of the squad which was much more crucial to the team going into this new season, then you couldn't argue the logic.

Har har har.

Nolito and Sane. There is no space for Suarez i'm sorry. The math just doesn't add up. With Nolito signing we have 18/17 foreign spots taken. We basically have 1 too many already. If Sane comes we need to offload Bony and Nasri. We'd have to offload Silva, Navas, KDB or Aguero for Suarez. And from all reports Navas is safe for another year.

WAtford turning down 49mmill for a run of the mill player just shows that transfer fees are now based on Monopoly money. It's not real and spending 85mill would be equivalent to spending 30mill last year.
The club should just get it done, we don't need to worry about the numbers involved. He is on par, if not better than Sergio, would be a wet dream watching them two. Ugly toothy bastard but scores goals, get him in. He could be our van persie

With Yaya, Zaba, Caba, Mangala, bony all apparently leaving im sure we would have space

Can't see his wife being interested, she hated England but money does have a funny way of changing the chemicals in the brain.

I'd live in Merseyslide if someone was paying me millions a year.

Perhaps knowing that he'll continue to be paid shit loads when he finally ends up at New York might keep her sweet. His family love it there and visit often.

He is definitely above Aguero, although I hate to say it.

Suarez is an absolute machine in front of goal and yes, he is a c*** of a person at times, he would be our c***.

No brainer for me and some have already alluded to it but £85M is absolutely nothing now the new tv deal has hit.

Pep's number 2 said the other day that city have done a lot for girona per's club in Spain
