The Arsenal fans were right about Adebayor

Arsenal fans were right about Ade.
Villa fans were right about Barry.
Rags were right about that headless chicken Tevez.

If we play it to his feet insteaqd of his head, he will be fine, and will prove you wrong, it's the tactics to blame, not Ade.
Maybe you would prefer Barry Conlon back?

totally agree pal. He is not a target man ffs.

We aren't using him as a striker we are using him as a player trying to create stuff on the edge of the area. He was scoring goals earlier when we were getting into the box but there was nothing there yesterday it was dire.

It has to be said. Coincidentally, he'll probably now go and have a stormer against his old club again, which would raise many questions for me. Now that his honeymoon period is well and truely over, unless he's playing his former employers, there's simply no motivation from him at all. He's shocking. The problem we have though is what do we do? If we drop him, we have Santa Cruz as the most likely replacement and that's equivalent to playing with 10 men. Could we perhaps get away with playing Bellamy and Tevez upfront with Robinho on the left? At least it would encourage the back 4 to stop hoofing it. But that would leave us woefully exposed through midfield. Do we go back to what we did when Bellamy first signed and play Bellers up top on his own in a 4-5-1/4-3-3? What do we do? Is it possible to recover the real Adebayor? Or is THIS the real Adebayor? Yet again, i feel we'll be after another striker in the transfer window.
No they aren't.

Victim of Hughes' route 1 tactics.
We use the long ball a lot less than most teams

Not sure that is the point mate. Watching the game yesterday I lost count of the amount of times we just hit the ball up to Ade hoping he wins a header. That is not his game.

Its not a case of using it a lot less than most teams its a case of us using it more than our main rivals. Im sure we used it more yesterday than chelsea, united, spurs, villa or liverpool would.

He's good in the air, and when we have no alternative we hit it long.

I've seen the stats before now, and we're not a long ball team. Perhaps we used it more than usual yesterday, because it's impossible to build up play in a two man central midfield.

I have noticed and kept my eyes on this for some time.
I not see him receive good service so far from team mates. tbh
Hope he can has more from Robinho

Ball always passes to him far left or far right by SWP who try his best to run through 2 - 3 defenders at a time.
In one game, I hardly see him receive a good ball that he can immediately shoot or turn ball around.
I actually see him pass beautiful balls to team mates more than what he normally receives from them.
I blame him only not trying harder enough to find space and hope he can do better.

And if this is Hughes plan to loft long ball to Ade and he has to return them beautifully to team mates.
Then he already done it beautifully, but I am kind of blaming manager for this mediocre tactic.
