Big night tonight I must admit I couldn't handle another all nighter last night,work was a killer yesterday but def up for tonight when the new ball does the business and Australia are all out for 303. We then are all out for 233 but Swann and Co bowl the Aussies out for 133 and we are 1-0 up!

Why was the Irish lad dropped Morgan? Did he even make the squad thought he would of been nailed on to start.

Brilliant in One-Dayers and T20's, at test level not proven yet although saying that i would of picked him over Collingwood

You take our best player and you dont play him. We should take him back and you never know we might have a chance at winning some games. Thats what pisses me off with Cricket how is it to grow in other countries if there best players get taken by England. lost his place to Bell who has been in imperious form. Looks like he may get a chance if Colly keeps wobbling. Agree he is a great player and a joy to watch. Yeah the Irish team in the 90s had a mix of English , Scottish and Irish players but sadly none of them were as good as this lad Morgan who could well end up being 1 of the best players in a couple of years time. While whatever players we got for Ireland for football wasnt good enough to make the England team.

Haha Leighton you're a good guy but you're so biased towards all things green. You're commenting on a cricket player that I don't even think you know the name of whilst you've probably watched less than an hour of cricket. Morgan is a good play, no more no less. I would think he'll get a chance if Colly doesn't shape up but to suggest Morgan is going to be one of the best players is very far-fetched. One day wise he is a great player and does play for England but it remains to be seen if he a real career in test cricket.

And also, the guy who replaced him, Ian Bell, is now our batting hope. He has been sensational since returning to test cricket after being dropped a while back, adding mental strength to his gorgeous technique.
